Birchbox Local During New York Fashion Week


Birchbox was back for this season of New York Fashion Week, as Birchbox Local, which was open to media/influencers from September 7th-10th and then opened to the public as a pop-up Consumer Retail Shop from September 12th-16th, right across from MILK Studios. 

Birchbox Local was the perfect spot to unwind in-between shows and get glammed up with makeovers, hair styling, brow shaping and manicures. Some of the brands that offered beauty services included Amika, Serge Normant, Juice Beauty, Stila Cosmetics, Pop Beauty, benefit and Color Club. 

It was exciting to see what was included in the sample wall and curate your own Birchbox. This year the suite had expanded to two floors, complete with a mobile charging station, free WiFi, photo booth and candy & refreshments. Sponsors included Intel, Resource Water, Pilot Pens and Chobani.

My curated Birchbox with amazing deluxe samples! My new favorite is Serge Normant's Volumizing Dry Shampoo, for some much needed texture when styling my hair. I can't wait to try DDF Wrinkle Resist Plus Pore Minimizer and Origins Modern Friction is my go-to exfoliating scrub. Red lips are in, so I must try Stila's Stay All Day Liquid Lipstick in beso and can't wait to try this Apollo Star glittery gold nail lacquer from Color Club.
