Monique Lhuillier Spring 2011

Monique Lhuillier Spring 2011 is inspired by 'a beautiful girl running through a lush garden. Her very own Garden of Eden.'

The palette is rich in color - Red Apple, Poppy, Green, Ocean Blue, Ombres in blues and greens, Toffee, Rose and Reptile prints, with Blush, Cream and pale pinks softening the palette.

The embroidered corset with high waisted silk trouser is a great alternative to wearing a cocktail dress, yet equally sophisticated.

I love how the strapless, one shoulder and v-neck gowns fit perfectly on the body, and look stunning in chiffon and organza. You can really see the work and craftsmanship that goes into each gown, especially the embroidery and sequin details. Her dresses are absolutely gorgeous. I anticipate seeing a lot of the gowns on the red carpet.
