Gilt Sample Sale Recap & Shopping Haul

Last Friday, November 10th, I attended the VIP session of the Gilt Sample Sale at The Altman Building in NYC. It's been well over a year since I've attended this sale - the last time I went was April 2016. One thing is for sure - I've never left this sale empty handed. The best deals and finds are happen when you have first pick and unfortunately I made it to the sale a half hour late. I also was shocked to learn that everything at the sale was an additional 50% off the ticketed price! They were practically giving away items! 

Check out my shopping haul below. I really wish I had found a pair of shoes in my size. I saw a pair of Stuart Weitzman over the knee boots that would have been $120 (I think the MSRP was $695). There was also a pair of Isabel Marant Rowi ankle boots on sale for $150 (MSRP $790). I'm hoping they do the 50% off sale at the next Gilt NYC sale (or even Brooklyn - I would trek over there for that!). I heard by Sunday, everything was 60% off the ticketed price!

Peter Thomas Roth & June Jacobs Sample Sale - 11/16 - 11/18/16 and Shopping Haul Recap

OMG this sample sale was more amazing than I imagined! The prices are unbelievable and honestly it wasn't crowded at all! I don't think a lot of people know about this sale! There's a ton of products I've been wanting to try and this is the perfect opportunity since samples were $3! They even list the original price which is very helpful. The full size Cucumber Detox Foaming Cleanser, Cucumber Mask, Pumpkin Enzyme Mask and Rose Stem Cell Masks are $15 each. The travel size masks are $5 each.

Marc Jacobs Sample Sale - 11/2 - 11/6/16 and Shopping Haul Recap

So I made it to the second to last day of the Marc Jacobs sample sale, and the line seemed to move quickly, but was about a half hour wait. All that was left of Marc Jacobs Beauty were Perfection Powder, Marvelous Mousse and Re(marc)able Concealer, which I did manage to pickup for $9. I also got four men's cashmere cardigans in heather grey, brown, green and black for $33 each ($165 retail). I got one size S and the rest were M but I plan on shrinking them in the wash. 

I also got a short and long pair of fingerless leather gloves for $20 each and a Marc by Marc Jacobs blurred gingham skirt for $40. They wouldn't let me take a picture of the price lists, but you can tell by my finds that the pricing was incredibly good. If you haven't made it to the sale yet, I would recommend hitting it up on the last day, as there still were a ton of samples left, yet they probably won't reduce pricing any further for this one.

Laura Geller - NEST Fragrances - Deva Curl Sample Sale - 10/31 - 11/5/16 and Shopping Haul Recap

After work I made my way over to 260 Sample Sale to check out what was left at the Laura Geller - Nest Fragrances - Deva Curl Sample Sale, which just got even further discounted today. I really was looking to stock up on NEST Fragrances liquid soaps, and unfortunately they were all gone, except for the last Morrocan Amber one I picked up for $5. I picked up a NEST Fragrances classic candle for $25, in the Birchwood Pine scent and Hearth and Wasabi Pear for mini single votives for $5 each. 

They had plenty of other scents including Ocean Mist & Sea Salt, Vanilla Orchid & Almond, Orange Blossom, Moss & Mint and the holiday scents.I was hoping to find Cashmere Suede, but no luck on finding that candle there. Sprig by NEST Anjou Pear and Sandalwood sugar scrub and  body butter were the best finds, marked at $2 each. 

I then made my way to Laura Geller, which seemed to have everything except what I was looking for - black eyeliner. I did manage to pickup a few items - foundation, highlighter palette and eyeshadows for $5 each and lip gloss for $2.

Take a look below at some of the handbag styles that are available at the sale, as well as a glimpse of what I saw at the sale, including the full price list. 

I got the Maddie shoes in light gold/black dusted metallic leather/shiny for $50 (retails for $225). Before you start splurging on this sale, I encourage you to look at other online shops first! I just saw this pair for $39.98 through jet.com! With shipping the price would have been about the same but ugh I could have gotten a size 5 instead of the 5 1/2 I settled for!  I also got the Mollie in black lamba with light gold studs for $75, which retails for $350. 

I also got 3 necklaces and one pair of earrings for $15 each (see image below). One of the necklaces had retailed for $68. In the past, the jewelry had been $10 at the sample sale. There was a line when I got there around 6:45pm, but it moved really quickly. I didn't even get to look at the clothes. I just focused on shoes and jewelry but maybe I'll go back!

Shopping Haul and Recap: United Nude Sample Sale

Today was the last day of the United Nude sample sale! Last Pair samples were $50 and Fold Lo and Fold Mid styles were $35. Shoes were marked on a star system, with shoes priced at $50, $75, $100, $125 and $150. I stopped by on Thursday evening and again today. I'm glad I stopped back in because I got one more pair plus they had large wallets and belts for $20 and small wallets for $10!
