So I checked out the United Sample Sale on the first day of the sale - Saturday, April 28th. Since the space is super small, they are letting shoppers in one at a time. Lucky for me, the line wasn't that long. I only had to wait a few minutes. There was a shelf where shoe samples were priced at $50, $75 or $100, but the selection was very limited and I saw nothing in my size (35). 

I found three pairs I really liked but was disappointed with the pricing. Turns out the styles I liked were 50-55% off, which isn't much of a sample sale to me. That's more like a retail sale and definitely pricier than the previous United Nude sales. 

So I passed on any shoes for now. I was told the sample sale will be around for three months, so here's to hoping the prices will be reduced further towards the end of the sale.

I've been meaning to stop over at the United Nude Pop Up for months, and when I finally get there I find out they are closing the pop up permanently! They are moving United Nude online only so that sadly means no more NYC location and no more future sample sales! 

United Nude was always one of my favorite sample sales and my go-to shoe brand, especially since I could always find a fitting size 35 there. I own more United Nude shoes then any other brand in my shoedrobe. So knowing they were closing permanently, I had to splurge one last time! 

Check out the price list and the five pairs of shoes I got at the sale. Everything I got was $45 each. With a total value of $1,330, I got about 84% off my purchase! There's still a variety of sizes left at the sale. There were several pairs I would have loved but they either didn't have my size left or the size 35 was still too big. I definitely recommend stopping in before they close! They still have a variety of styles and sizes available.

The weather is warming up and it's time to lose the winter coat! Say goodbye to winter and hello spring! I got this wool coat mid-season at the USE UNUSED sample sale and it's kept me incredibly warm. I love the fit - all I had to do was get the sleeves tailored, which I got done after I shot this look. This was by far the best sale find to date - a $1300 coat for $110! My winter coats are always black, so I never thought I'd opt for a rose-colored coat until I tried it on. I'm afraid I'm going to get something on this coat because of the light color, but this season I managed to avoid any emergency trips to my dry cleaner.

The Mosaic silver shoes of course are from one of my favorite shoe brands, United Nude. I also have their Mosaic black peep toe shoes. If you are a size 35 like me, you should definitely check out United Nude. I have at least 10 pairs of their shoes! 

The Rave Metal Clutch is by Glass Handbag, which has a built in electroluminescent light with batteries! Glass Handbag also has satchels and crossbody bags. One of their satchels or totes would be great for an everyday bag.

So I guess this look is my way of celebrating Rose Quartz as Pantone Color of the Year. Now I just have to see if I have any blue hues that would work for Serenity.

Shopping Haul and Recap: United Nude Sample Sale

Today was the last day of the United Nude sample sale! Last Pair samples were $50 and Fold Lo and Fold Mid styles were $35. Shoes were marked on a star system, with shoes priced at $50, $75, $100, $125 and $150. I stopped by on Thursday evening and again today. I'm glad I stopped back in because I got one more pair plus they had large wallets and belts for $20 and small wallets for $10!

The anticipated United Nude Sample Sale starts on Tuesday and this time prices are the lowest I've ever seen them! On Thursday I got a sneak peek of the sale and couldn't believe the price points: $25, $35, $45, $50 and $75! This is one of my favorite sample sales because of all the styles and sizes available. It was hard to choose just one, especially when there are so many size 35s. I ended up getting three pairs and am contemplating returning for more!

Can you believe this Mosaic peeptoe ankle boot (originally retails for $285) is only $35?? 

I couldn't resist getting the Urban chukka wedge booties (originally retails for $205) in Fossil + Brown for $75! I wore these yesterday and they kept me cozy and comfy all day. I love the faux fur lining, colorblocking, and the 4" wedge is super comfortable. 

I was so excited to get the Step Mobius Kate (originally retails for $485) in Black Nappa leather for $75! I had contemplated getting these at the last United Nude Sample Sale so I'm glad they were here again! I also spotted them in grey suede and cobalt suede. 

I would have loved to get this pair but the smallest size they had was a 36, which was a little big to be wearing comfortably with this heel. 

I couldn't resist getting these Bubble Mid black nylon canvas boots (originally retails for $275) for $45!
