Face the Beauty Event Hosted by Jackie Gomez

Celebrity makeup artist Jackie Gomez hosted her Face the Beauty event on Thursday, January 30th at Rogue Space in Chelsea. The event was the perfect pre-fashion week celebration with Jackie sharing her favorite beauty products and tips to help you feel beautiful and confident.

Jackie's goal for Face the Beauty is to work with more beauty brands and raise awareness of empowerment and self-esteem in women. Face the Beauty is about inner beauty and who you really are.

makeup is not a tool to make someone more beautiful
it is simply to magnify the beauty that already exists

Here's a look at Jackie's favorite beauty products:
fresh seaberry moisturizing face oil
Jackie Gomez's Tip: After cleansing, apply 1 or 2 drops and massage into face.

Maybelline Color elixir by color sensational in dashing orchid
Jackie Gomez's Tip: Apply lip color with applicator wand and start in the center of your upper lip. Work from the center to the outer edges, following the contours of your mouth. Then glide-across the entire bottom lip.

L'Oreal colour riche eye shadow in good luck charm
Jackie Gomez's Tip: Color the entire eye-lid, then sweep onto brow bone to brighten. To contour, blend into the crease for depth and finally add definition by applying along the lash line.

tarte lights, camera, flashes statement mascara - lengthens, curls and magnifies for an intensified look proven to increase lash volume by 752% instantly!
Jackie Gomez's Tip: My favorite mascara because it lengthens and curls and gives the lashes an ultra-black intensified volume, creating a false lash effect.

MAKE UP FOR EVER aqua liner:
Jackie Gomez's Tip: Start at the inner corner of the eye, sweep close to the lash line, across the lid and wing the liner at the end for a cat eye effect.

smashbox halo blush in blissful
Jackie Gomez's Tip: For easy application, smile and apply blush on the apples of the cheeks in a circular motion.

GARNIER refreshing remover cleansing towelettes
Jackie Gomez's Tip: Gently wipe face and eye contour to remove dirt, oil makeup and even mascara. Peel label to open and reseal pack when finished to prevent cloths from drying out.

essie belugaria
Jackie Gomez's Tip:
Step 1: Hydrate with apricot cuticle oil.
Sep 2: Clean then prep nail with an Essie base coat or treatment
Step 3: Using a dotting or dabbing motion, apply 2 coats of Belugaria for a more dramatic texture, apply 3 coats, let dry.
Step 4: To maintain nail texture, no top coat recommended.
