EMU Australia Fall 2011
EMU Australia, known for their water resistant sheepskin boots, held their first ever runway show during New York Fashion Week on February 17th at STYLE360 at the Metropolitan Pavilion.
The Fall 2011 collection is inspired by the color palette of the Australian landscape, including EMU's Stinger style boot in earthy tones of mushroom, dusty olive, aubergine and hazelnut. New footwear styles are also introduced - Narooma, Hobart and Melba boot.
But it's no just about the boots. EMU was also debuting their new breathable Denimwool® Jean. Sheepskin jackets, luxurious knits and accessories come together for stylish layering. The long silhouettes of the knits and cardigans are practical for every day wear. I especially love the long knits paired with cropped leather jackets, which are my favorite pieces from the collection.
