Bally Benefit for the Georges Malaika Foundation

On March 7th, I attended the benefit for the Georges Malaika Foundation at the Bally store at 628 Madison. Guests enjoyed wine, champagne and hors d'oeuvres.

The Georges Malaika Foundation (GMF) is all about empoweing African girls through education. The goals of the foundation are to sponsor young girls financially so that they can attend school, provide full tuition, meals and school supplies, build well-equipped schools and to offer college scholarships to top students.

Construction has already begun on the Georges Malaika Foundation School, a well-equipped, self sustained school in Democratic Republic of Congo. This school will serve as a prototype for similar schools when the foundation expands educational facilities throughout Africa. You can learn more about the Georges Malaika Foundation at
gmfafrica.org.

Here's a look at my favorite Bally accessories for Spring, including color-blocked shoes and clutches in spring-popping slate blue, yellow, green and brick red, with most of the collection set in neutral colors of white, black and camel and dove grey. You can shop the spring Bally collection at bally.com.
