On Thursday, August 14th, I stopped by the new INTIMACY {bra fit stylists} store at 104 Fifth Avenue at 16th Street in NYC for their grand opening. This Fifth Avenue flagship is the third INTIMACY in the city and specializes in bra fit styling sessions and features premium European designers in lingerie, shapewear and swimwear styles. The 1,228 square foot space is located in the Flat Iron District, complete with nine fitting rooms to accommodate more shoppers.
After a quick tour, I had my first personalized bra fit styling session at INTIMACY. This isn't one of those quick bra fittings where they use a measuring tape to fit you. After telling my Bra Fit Stylist, LisaMarie, my U.S. bra size and the styles of bras I usually wear, she came back with several bra styles for me to try on. My favorite styles ended up being by Marie Jo, detailed with exquisite floral embroidery. LisaMarie then brought over the matching underwear styles. My top choice ended up being the Axelle set by Marie Jo in Jewel Green, which is right on-trend color for fall. This was also the first time I tried on European bras, which were extremely comfortable and seemed to fit just right. I also learned what my U.K. sizing is!
