Beauty Prep at Caravan Stylist Studio: #Beauty20 Awards

I can always count on Caravan Stylist Studio at The Carlton Hotel to help get me beauty-ready whether it's for a style shoot or red carpet event. This time I needed to be prepped for the #Beauty20 Awards, in which I was presenting the award for Best Beauty Startup.

I can always count on Valerie Star, hair and makeup extraordinaire, to make me look fabulous! For my hair look, I wanted to go with loose curls, so Valerie styled my hair with iKonic Precision Styling Tools and since it was a rainy afternoon, she made sure my curls stayed in place with Sexy Hair  - their Get Layered Flash Dry Thickening Hairspray works wonders on me!

For my makeup, Valerie created the perfect smoky eye look with a nude lip using Kryolan's amazing cosmetics, which stays on flawlessly for hours on end.

For my manicure, Valerie painted my nails with Zoya Nail Polish in Veronica, a brilliant red wine color, and Teigan, which added a cranberry liquid metal accent to each nail. Valerie used a very simple sponge technique to add some sparkle, and this is one that would be incredinly easy to do at home. She cut a piece of a makeup sponge, brushed Teigan onto the top half and Veronica on the bottom half of the sponge and gently pressed onto my nail, and repeated that step for each nail.

As always, thank you Valerie, Karmela and Claudine for taking the time and having me at Caravan Stylist Studio! Additional sponsors at Caravan Stylist Studio include Volvic Water, Belvoir Elderflower (obsessed with their lemonades!), Simple Skincare, Cottonelle, Bullet Acne Aid, Fake Bake, Next Issue and Zip Loop.
