Rachel Zoe "Living in Style" Launch Party at DreamDry

On Wednesday, March 26th, I celebrated the launch of Rachel Zoe's new book, Living in Style: Inspiration and Advice for Everyday Glamour with ELLE and essie at DreamDry, at 35 W. 21st Street. Rachel Zoe signed copies of her book for guests, as they enjoyed cocktails, delectable sweets, dry styling and braids by DreamDry and complimentary essie manicures with the new essie spring 2014 collection. 

In Living In Style, Rachel offers tips and advice, along with style insights from fellow insiders, friends and family members. You'll find photographs from Rachel's private archives and learn about her personal icons and earliest influences as she shares the story of her own style evolution.

SEPHORA + PANTONE Pop-Up Greenhouse Featuring Radiant Orchid

Yesterday, March 27th, I stopped by the SEPHORA + PANTONE Pop-Up Greenhouse to celebrate the Color of the Year, Radiant Orchid. The Sephora makeup artists and Bumble and bumble hair styling team created my perfect spring look. The Eye: Radiant Femme Artistry Set for a smoky eye, Rush Luster Cheek Sweep and Radiant Paint Gloss were used for my evening look, while Bumble and bumble's Prêt à Powder and Cityswept Finish were used to create my loose waves. I got so many compliments on my look, I can't wait to recreate it myself! I also fell in love with the lip lacquer, which is a stunning, pigmented Radiant Orchid gloss.

Guests also enjoyed mini cupcakes, candy and refreshments and captured their new spring look at the digital photo booth. Each service took about 15 minutes and then I was on my way! Monika Chiang Sample Sale Update with Reduced Price List

Hoping to snag some more leather pieces, I stopped by the Monika Chiang sample sale around 1pm on the first day. I was shocked to see a lot of new apparel and shoes that wasn't at the last sale.  No lingerie, or home items this time around, and looks like the belts are sold out. They don't expect to get another shipment in but I'm still on the lookout! I have updated this post with the current price list as reductions were taken today. Now this sale is really worth checking out!

I ended up getting the Perforated Leather Tee in Black for $60 (originally $750) and the Fitted Peak Lapel Jacket for $55 (originally $575). I also got the Calf Hair Cobalt Equidae Bootie for $60 (originally $525) and the Gunmetal Harness Necklace for $30 (originally $295). This sale has been just as incredible for the second round this month! This sale is definitely worth stopping over at!

Frozen Food Favorites

With the schedule I have, between work, blogging and events, that doesn't leave a lot of time for cooking at home. I am all about preparing quick and easy great-tasting meals. Frozen foods don't have to be dull and boring. My frozen favorites are comprised of Luvo, EVOL Foods, Farm Rich and Garden Lites. 

Luvo, formerly sold and packaged as LYFE Kitchen Retail, encourages a healthier lifestyle, with meals made of nutrient-dense ingredients, less than 500 calories and contain 500 mg of sodium or less per entrée. Red Wine Braised Beef & Polenta is a new entrée I have yet to spot in my local grocery store, but I am on the lookout for it. Some of my current Luvo favorites that I've tried include Oat Bran & Ricotta Pancakes, Chicken Chile Verde and Orange Mango Chicken. 

EVOL Foods deliver fabulous flavors with simple all natural ingredients. My EVOL favorites include Fire Grilled Steak and Truffle Parmesan Mac & Cheese but now I'll be searching for EVOL's newest launches, Gluten Free Uncured Bacon Mac & Cheese and Butternut Squash & Sage Ravioli. 

Farm Rich frozen appetizers are the perfect for when I just need something to snack on, either before or after an event. They are also great to serve during gatherings or parties. The newest Farm Rich frozen appetizers include Toasted Ravioli and Crispy Dill Pickles. Some classic favorites include Mozzarella Sticks and Queso Cheese Bites.

Garden Lites is a line of vegetarian, all natural soufflés and zucchini "pasta" dishes filled with nutritious real flavors. My favorites include the Veggie Chili & Cornbread Melt, Southwestern and Zucchini Chocolate Veggie Muffins. The various Garden Lites muffins are great for breakfast or as a snack. I'm really interested in trying the Pumpkin Spice or Roasted Vegetable.
