TC Charton Asian Fit Eyewear

At The Accessory Lounge at Style360 during New York Fashion Week, I met with designer Alexandra Peng of TC Charton Asian Fit Eyewear. TC Charton creates stylish and luxurious eyewear for Asians and people from many other ethnic backgrounds, addressing fit issues like a lower nose bridge or higher cheekbones.

TC Charton is now my go-to for sunglasses and prescription glasses. The fit on my TC Charton Crystal sunglasses are so comfortable and don't slide off of my face. They fit so well they feel like they are customized for my face! I just love the concept of eyewear designed to fit Asian characteristics. The eyewear is super chic, with many stylish frames to choose from.

Samsung Focus™ Flash Windows Phone 7.5

Since I've been an iPhone user for so long, it's hard to even think of transitioning to another phone, but switching to the Samsung Focus™ Flash Windows Phone 7.5 made it easy. For me, Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week is the perfect time for a new phone upgrade, since it's non-stop texting, tweeting, checking in and posting to Facebook in between shows.

I love the petite design, and ease of getting to my favorite apps through the tiles. My most used apps automatically show up on the tiles so there's no need to search for them or wonder where they went (apps were constantly accidently moved on my iPhone - it was the most annoying thing).

It's also easy to access my emails (gotta love 4G) and post to Twitter and Facebook. I also love how this phone creates contact cards, linking to their picture, Twitter handle and email address and allows you to see their recent tweets or Facebook posts.

On Sunday February 11th, I stopped by the lia sophia Social Fashion™ Suite during New York Fashion Week at The Empire Hotel to preview the Zingara Red Carpet collection. The Zingara collection is inspired by chic destinations around the world, featuring rich colors of lime, tangerine, plum and teal, ornate designs and exceptional detailing. The gorgeous pieces are a mix of bohemian exoticism and jet-set luxe.

Zingara includes clear cut crystals in matte and antique gold and silver. The Enigma necklace isn't part of the Zingara collection, but when paired with the Delphina earrings, these two are easily my favorite pieces this season. There are so many pieces from lia sophia that can be worn together to add chic elegance to any look. My favorite necklace in antique gold is the Natayla, a stunning statement piece.

Lacoste Fall 2012 / Lacoste Lounge

Lacoste's ski-style for Fall 2012 includes colorblocked mini-dresses, sporty striped leggings, quilted leather jackets and oversized parkas in white, grey, black neutrals with bold red and blue.

Also during Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week this season, Lacoste held a lounge where guests take a closer look at the fall collection and accessories from sunglasses and jewelry to handbags and shoes, Lacoste Live pieces and bedding.

The Lacoste lounge was also a great place to unwind, charge your phone and enjoy food and refreshments. I was thrilled to take in a quiet moment away from Lincoln Center, with some mimosas and light bites.

GANT by Michael Bastian Fall 2012

GANT by Michael Bastian Fall 2012, titled "The Lucky Ones", is based on Bastian's memories and experiences of living in Boston while in college there. The collection is a youthful mix of classic preppy, sports utility and fashion influences inspired by MOD revival.

Bastian combines the idea of luck and the concept of "today is my lucky day" with a belief in certain objects possessing a good energy.

In the spirit of luck, there's a special coin on every hangtag on every piece of clothing in the collection that you can save, put in your pocket or add to your key ring.

The women's collection includes a gray University Blazer, tartan tuxedo bib, solid and striped shirts, skinny jeans and skinny patent belts. My favorite looks from the GANT by Michael Bastian Fall 2012 presentation are the tweed boxy double breasted blazer with tweed wrap skirt and horizontal stitch turtleneck, the fairisle shetland sweater, round collar white Sam shirt with pencil skirt and skinny belt and the Donegal blazer, Marinario turtleneck, Donegal chino skirt with patent belt and vertical stripe tights.

The checked double breasted blazer, cord blazer, pincord patchwork blazer, solid oxford shirts, plaid flannels and striped and checked poplin top my men's favorites list.

Charcoal brushed wool crepe Infanta cocktail dress w/ leather and crystal embroidery

Milly Fall 2012 is inspired from high-tech materials and innovative fabric manipulation. Hues of heliotrope, clover, shocking pink, and chartreuse create a bold, colorful contrast to white, charcoal and black neutrals.

Fabrics and textures include leather, laminated tweeds, brushed wool crepe, structured jacquards, leather and silk.

The charcoal brushed wool crepe Infant cocktail dress, heliotrope laminated check tweed funnel-neck coat, black leather circle skirt, red crinkle patent leather funnel-neck coat and lurex cloque dot cocktail dress are my favorites, adding a modern edge to Milly's youthful and feminine luxurious style.
