Sunglass Hut Grand Opening in Times Square with Georgia May Jagger

During New York Fashion Week on September 10th, I celebrated the grand opening of Sunglass Hut's new Times Square location at 1540 Broadway at 45th Street. Attendees included Global Brand Ambassador Georgia May Jagger, model Theodora Richards, Olivia Munn of HBO's The Newsroom, The Carrie Diaries' AnnaSophia Robb and Adam Levine's new protegee, singer Rozzi Crane.

Guests enjoyed beats by DJ Ruckus and a performance by Rozzi Crane with high-flying aerialists. 

During the party, Sunglass Hut's "Come and Play" folding sunglass campaign was unveiled, starring Georgia May Jagger and her boyfriend, model and musician Josh McLellan. Shot in NYC with fashion photographer Terry Richardson, the campaign showcases a variety of innovative sunglass styles that can fold, bend and fit in your pocket.

The 1,423 square foot Sunglass Hut Times Square store boasts nearly 1,600 pairs of sunglasses. The expanded assortment of luxury, designer, lifestyle and performance brands include Bvlgari, Burberry, Chanel, Coach, Dolce & Gabbana, DKNY, Emporio Armani, Giorgio Armani, Miu Miu, Oakley, Persol, Prada, Prada Linea Rossa, Ray-Ban, Tiffany & Co., Tory Burch, Versace and Vogue Eyewear.

Pat McGrath for LeSportsac 2011 Collection Launch

On June 1st, I stopped by the penthouse at the Mondrian Soho for the launch of the PatMcGrath for LeSportsac 2011 Collection. The eight-piece pro cosmetic bag collection is inspired by the shade pallete and sleek bullet of COVERGIRL LipPerfection™ lipcolor.

The collection includes different sizes, ranging from the small “Kiss Case,” ($25) to the large “Professional Carry All” tote ($120), which can fit the seven other pieces for convenient, pro-inspired makeup travel.

Lookout for the “Pat McGrath for LeSportsac” label and COVERGIRL hangtag featuring custom beauty looks and application tips from Pat.

This is the second year that LeSportsac has teamed up with COVERGIRL and Pat. Last year's collaboration was inspired by COVERGIRL LashBlast Length Mascara.

During the launch party, guests enjoyed a candy station, cocktails and hors d'eouvres. It was a hot and humid evening but the Penthouse at the Mondrian had an amazing view and the breeze coming in was just perfect. Out on the rooftop with the DJ was the place to be!

Celebrity guests included Tiki Sumpter, Shanae Grimes and Olivia Munn.
