Favorite Looks from Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Spring 2011

I wish I could have gone to more shows, but 15 shows during Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week was enough to go to while having to run back and forth from the office. Usually I go to about 20-25 shows, but really had to cut down this time around. I didn't even make it to any shows at The Box, where the on-site presentations were held at Lincoln Center.

Here are my favorites from the shows I didn't get to attend. There were so many exquisite looks out there, but I generally focused on the wearable ones. What are your favorites from fashion week?

The Daily "Beauty Bar" - Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Spring 2011

The Daily "Beauty Bar" was back at Townhouse Spa for Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Spring 2011 on September 13th and 14th. Celebrities, VIPs and members of the press stopped by for their favorite spa treatments, cocktails and food. Take a look at what went on at The Daily "Beauty Bar" last season.

I absolutely love Townhouse Spa. Last season I got the facial and massage, which were both amazing. Services seemed to book up pretty quickly so I wasn't able to get either spa treatment, but I did get their early enough to get a makeover from Urban Decay and a pedicure, since those didn't have to be scheduled in advance.

Robin from Urban Decay did an amazing job on my makeover (Thank you Robin!), especially since I told her I love a dramatic eye and planned on going to the Betsey Johnson show later that evening. She even put on a set of Urban Decay lashes that have just launched. The lashes looked so natural and made such an impact on my eyes! Attendees also got a gift bag filled with the latest Urban Decay product!

By the time I was waiting for my pedicure to dry, manicures were in full swing! Plenty of great nail polish colors to choose from - I went with a cobalt blue - one of my favorites colors.

Here is the friendly staff from Le Souk Restaurant. The hors d'oeuvres were very tasty!

Marcolin Eyewear was there displaying John Galliano, Tod's and Dsquared² sunglasses.

Ouidad, specializing in curly hair, was booked up and busy styling!

Victoria's Secret "Foundation of Fashion" VIP Suite

Victoria’s Secret hosted a VIP suite at the Kaplan Penthouse at Lincoln Center, just steps away from Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week, from September 13th-15th. Guests got an exclusive sneak peek at 2010 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show sketches and upcoming intimates & fragrance collections.

The suite was also a place for celebrities and press to unwind and prep, with manicures and massages compliments of Oasis Day Spa and bombshell makeovers. They had great food catered by Restaurant Associates, and scrumptious cupcakes by Billy's Bakery. I hope the Victoria's Secret "Foundation of Fashion" VIP Suite returns next season - it was one of my favorite spots to lounge and check my email!

Here are some of the celebrities that visited the suite:

A Look at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Spring 2011 at Lincoln Center

Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Spring 2011 has come and gone, and the week actually went more smoothly then I had imagined. What I loved the most about the switch to Lincoln Center was the electronic check-in. It was easy as scanning your e-ticket at the airport. I no longer had to worry about waiting my turn at the check-in desk - I could just run in and get to my next show.

The setup inside the tents was also refreshing. Here are a few highlights:

The latest car models from Mercedes-Benz

The TRESemmé styling station and lounge my first stop after the Nicholas K Show, which was the first show debuting at Lincoln Center. I got my hair dry styled with a slight wave for some added volume. This season TRESemmé gave away their No-Frizz Créme.

The Maybelline Lounge also had some daily giveaways, as attendees were able to choose from lipstick, gloss or lip stains, cream or silk eyeshadows, or mascara.

The Starbucks Frappacino lounge was giving away silly bands in the shape of a heart, stiletto heel, star and Frappacino bottle. My favorite drink during Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week was the Vanilla Dream - 1 part Disaronno and 2 parts Vanilla Frappacino coffee drink - you couldn't taste the alcohol!

Since I was running back and forth from the office, I didn't need to use the AOL lounge, but this was a definite convenience for many media attendees who needed to do upload images, write articles, check email or charge their phone.

I didn't get to stop by the Essie booth, but they were taking appointments for manicures.

I didn't get to stop over at Kim Crawford wines either, but I did see that in the morning they had been providing hand massages and of course wine in the evening.

Here are some of my favorite displays. I love these purple shoes!
