Hard Candy Fall/Holiday 2016

Here's a look at Hard Candy's Fall /Holiday Collection, including everything from cosmetics and cosmetic bags to the new optical line, with sunglasses, readers and cases. 

There was a ton of new products released, including the Glamoflauge Mix-in Pigment Makeup Drops, which you can easily add to your moisturizer or primer and add more drops for more coverage. One of my new favorites is definitely the Velvet Mousse Matte Lip Color in both the Dahlia and Truffle shades. Usually a matte lip isn't one of my favorites since tends to be drying, but I love the creamy texture with this one, paired perfectly with the Blooming Lip Oil. 

I am so obsessed with the Smokey Eye Shadow Primer! It acts as an amazing base for a smoky eye, and it stays on for hours! I am also excited to try the Look Pro! Ultimate Contour and Sculpt Kit. I'm not the best when it comes to contouring, and I love how this kit comes with a tutorial guide so you know what to use and where to blend it. I prefer a more natural look when it comes to blush, which is why I love the Cheeky Tints sheer blush gel.

The sunglasses and readers are available in an assortment of colors including purple, pink and red, along with eyewear cases in fun prints.

GBK 2011 New York Fashion Week Style Lounge

There were an excess of lounges during Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week 2011, but the GBK style lounge was a memorable one, with amazing gifting from, especially when it came to beauty and skincare brands. The GBK lounge took place on September 13th & 14th at the Empire Hotel and was visited by celebrities, stylists, models, buyers, industry VIPs and media guests.

As soon as I arrived, I was greeted by Green Smoke®

Electric Cigarette, providing smokers with a great new alternative to traditional cigarettes.

I was excited to see Maureen Jaret there, co-owner of Stuffed Cupcakes in Nutley, NJ - my favorite cupcake cafe. The red velvet stuffed cupcakes are to-die-for!

This couture dress by Stuffed Cupcakes was a gorgeous work of art!

Here are some highlights from the GBK lounge.

Hard Candy previewed their current beauty must-haves, with some of my favorites including Glow All the Way skin luminizer, Ginormous Lash Mascara - infused with growth serum, Curl Up & Dye curling mascara, Stroke of Gorgeous waterproof felt tip eyeliner, Take Me Out Liner chopstick eyeliner and Plumping Serum fat pout lip gloss.

RevitaLash® showcased RevitaLash® Advanced eyelash conditioner, along with Revitabrow®, Lash Primer, Volumizing Mascaraand Hair by RevitaLash®.

I have used StriVectin® products in the past, so I was excited to see their product line, featuring StriVectin-SD, Eye Concentrate, Replenishing Cleanser, Retexturizing Scrub, Tightening Face Serum and Tightening Neck Cream.

SkinMedica offered complimentary professional peels and treatments. Some of their products include Illuminize Peel, TNS Age Defying Treatment, Complexion RX, Healing Hydration, Eye Rescue.

Arbonne featured three distinct limited-edition fragrances - The Dreamer, The Dazzler and The Dynamo, as well as their Swiss skincare line featuring fresh cell technology.
