GBK & Pilot Pen Luxury Gift and Style Lounge

GBK, in partnership with Pilot Pen, held their annual luxury style lounge during New York Fashion Week on September 5th and 6th at the Empire Hotel. "It's all about style!" at the GBK lounge this season, from jewelry to ultra stylish Pilot Pen FriXion Clickers, that easily writes and erases for making those writing mistakes disappear. 

Celebrity Guests that stopped by the lounge included Perez Hilton and Selenis Leyva from Orange is the New Black.

I arrived at the lounge when everyone started closing down and packing up, but there were a few brands I was able to meet with. Michael Todd True Organics, introduced SONICLEAR, the world's first antimicrobial sonic skin cleansing brush. I look forward to trying it out, feeling assured that these brushes will stay cleaner and fresher longer, and guard against bacteria. Michael Todd Organics were also featuring the brand new Sonic Eraser, a 3x anti-aging device that uses sonic, ionic and thermal technologies to reduce those dark circles and puffy eyes, reducing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles and making sure the eye serums and creams you are using really get absorbed into your skin. 

I was sad to have missed Hard Candy, as they have been sponsors at the GBK lounge for as long as I can remember. They have an array of mascaras but I love the Flat to Fab Mascara and Ginormous Lash Mascara + Lash Boosting Serum. I also love their All Glossed Up lip crayons and Megawatt Smile lipsticks. Guests visiting Hard Candy were treated to makeovers, makeup touch ups and hair and manicures.

Skinny&Co featured their Skinny Coconut Oil is the only 100% RAW, supplement grade coconut oil in the world. It is reported to provide sustained energy, boost metabolism leading to weight loss and increase brain clarity. 

Palace Resorts in association with Caribbean Living were spotlighting the all-inclusive Moon Palace Golf & Spa Resort in Cancun. 

Other brands featured at the lounge included Brow Art 23, EMK Beverly Hills, JeJu Sixteen Water, LUMINITA, sterling silver jewelry by Cynthia Gale, Jane Basch Jewelry. Robdechi, Hydroxycut Drops, The Artisan Group and Princess London Shoes.

Panasonic Beauty Bar at New York Fashion Week Spring 2015

The Panasonic Beauty Bar was a hot spot for celebrities, socialites and bloggers alike. The beauty bar, held at Salon SCK at 1845 Broadway, had all the right equipment for the ultimate beauty treatments. I was introduced to two beauty brands - Jamberry and Giella custom blend cosmetics. Jamberry nail wraps are vinyl-based with colorful and chic designs to express your style in a new and interesting way. The wraps are available online at jamberrynails.net with over 300 different designs. Jamberry also previewed their new Jamberry Mini-Heater which is great for travel. Giella is a naturally based line that specializes in recreating any discontinued shades for women that have their heart set on the perfect lipstick, powder or eyeshadow. This season there was even a grooming station for the guys, featuring Neutrogena Men Skincare and Woodford Reserve. 

On display were Panasonic Beauty tools and accessories such as the Nano Facial Steamer, Panasonic LUMIX digital cameras and retro on-ear headphones, plus a showcase of Uno de 50 jewelry. There were plenty of sweets and Skinnygirl Sparklers. Guests enjoyed complimentary Jamberry manicures, Giella makeup touch-ups and blowouts by appointment.

HSN Fall Fashion Lounge at New York Fashion Week

The HSN Fall Fashion Lounge pampered attendees with a spacious suite at The Empire Hotel, which made for a very convenient stop right across from the shows being held at Lincoln Center. The HSN Beauty Bar featured a Sally Hershberger hair styling station, Smashbox Cosmetics makeup touch ups and OPI manicures to freshen up your nails. Guests previewed the latest HSN fall fashion exclusives, collections and beauty products, including G by Giuliana Rancic jackets and blazers, Snob Essentials handbags, June by June Ambrose shoes, Korres and Harry Josh Pro Tools.

The Daily Front Row Luxury Media Lounge at New York Fashion Week

Another lounge to pass the time between shows throughout the New York Fashion Week weekend was The Daily Front Row. Besides the fact that it was held at the brand new, beautiful Park Hyatt New York located at 153 West 57th Street, the lounge included amazing beauty services such as manicures, eyebrow shaping, dry blowouts, makeup touch-ups from Gotham Beauty Lounge, and de-stressing neck and shoulder massages from Exhale Spa. They also offered refreshments and snacks to offer guests while they lounged around waiting their turn for the treatments. The Daily was definitely one of the highlights of the weekend thanks to their quick turn around on the services so guests weren’t late to their next stop.
