BetsyElisa NYFW Beauty Bar

I kicked off New York Fashion Week festivities at the BetsyElisa Beauty Bar on Wednesday, September 6th on the Lower East Side. The event space at 165 Allen Street was the perfect spot for the beauty bar, with makeup and hair stations ready for attending guests. This is my third year at the BetsyElisa Beauty bar during NYFW, and I'm always excited to see Betsy Reyes and Elisa Tallerico and have them and their makeup team do my hair and makeup!

For my hair and makeup look, I wanted to go with natural waves, a smoky eye and lashes for my evening look. I loved how my hair and makeup turned out! It was just perfect since I didn't want anything too dramatic since I was dressed more on the casual side to go out, in a shirt dress and ankle boots.

The BetsyElisa Beauty Bar always has professional photography, which I aways appreciate! Thank you to all the BetsyElisa sponsors - Kocostar, Qualitas Candles, FashionTats, Hempz Beauty, Number 4 Hair Care, Still Standing, Spornette, Novex, TIGI Cosmetics and Schmidt's Naturals.

Betsy Elisa Beauty Bar at NYFW 2017

To kick off the first day of fashion week on September 8th, I got glammed up at the Betsy Elisa Beauty Bar at The Lofts at Prince at 177 Prince Street. I was heading over to the Saks x Vogue party downtown, for the grand opening of Saks Fifth Avenue. To get ready for the party, Marissa did a amazing job on my makeup, including a bronze smokey eye! Mia effortlessly curled my hair, transforming from straight to soft waves. I got so many compliments on my hair and makeup that evening. This is my second time that I was styled by the Betsy Elisa team during fashion week, the first was at their beauty bar in 2014.

Media and VIP guests who got glammed up at the beauty bar received a swag bag filled with goodies from Mario Badescu, Click n Curl, Got2be, Rapidlash, Chi Hair Care and Face Atelier.

Thank you again to Betsy Elisa for hosting another wonderful beauty bar!

Betsy Elisa Beauty Bar at New York Fashion Week

Betsy Reyes and Elisa Tallerico kicked off the official launch of the Betsy Elisa Inc. Beauty Bar from from September 3rd through the 11th, at The Trump International Towers during New York Fashion Week. During scheduled appointments at the Betsy Elisa Beauty Bar, members of the media, VIPs and celebrity guests got prepped for fashion shows and events with complimentary hair and makeup services.

Betsy Elisa Inc. (BE) is an on-demand, on-site, red-carpet ready beauty boutique. Betsy and Elisa both started working together 14 years ago at MTV; where they continue to run and operate MTV's beauty department. Betsy Elisa's on-location, at-your-door-beauty and hair services allows their clients to BE red-carpet ready anywhere they go, any day of the week.

I really enjoyed the one-on-one experience with Betsy and Elisa, as there weren't any distractions or crowds of people. I was just able to relax and enjoy champagne and cupcakes while getting to know Betsy and Elisa, who are both incredibly sweet and focused on making you look beautiful! Many thanks to both Betsy and Elisa for having me experience the Beauty Bar!

The Betsy Elisa Beauty Bar was sponsored by Boscia, Curly Tee, Grab The Gold, Hipsy, Kalu, Hempz, Nioxin, William Wolf, Mario Badescu and Spornette.

Check out my interview with Betsy and Elisa as they discuss their official launch of Betsy Elisa, as well as their favorite fashion week makeup and hair tips and products.

Panasonic Beauty Bar at New York Fashion Week Spring 2015

The Panasonic Beauty Bar was a hot spot for celebrities, socialites and bloggers alike. The beauty bar, held at Salon SCK at 1845 Broadway, had all the right equipment for the ultimate beauty treatments. I was introduced to two beauty brands - Jamberry and Giella custom blend cosmetics. Jamberry nail wraps are vinyl-based with colorful and chic designs to express your style in a new and interesting way. The wraps are available online at jamberrynails.net with over 300 different designs. Jamberry also previewed their new Jamberry Mini-Heater which is great for travel. Giella is a naturally based line that specializes in recreating any discontinued shades for women that have their heart set on the perfect lipstick, powder or eyeshadow. This season there was even a grooming station for the guys, featuring Neutrogena Men Skincare and Woodford Reserve.

On display were Panasonic Beauty tools and accessories such as the Nano Facial Steamer, Panasonic LUMIX digital cameras and retro on-ear headphones, plus a showcase of Uno de 50 jewelry. There were plenty of sweets and Skinnygirl Sparklers. Guests enjoyed complimentary Jamberry manicures, Giella makeup touch-ups and blowouts by appointment.

Beauty Bar Grand Opening at the Americana Manhasset

On December 1st, I attended the grand opening of the Beauty Bar flagship store at Americana Manhasset, in Manhasset, New York. I rarely go to Long Island but I can see how Beauty Bar fits in perfectly at this upscale outdoor shopping center, alongside coveted brands such as Dior, Gucci, Prada, Louis Vuitton and Salvatore Ferragamo.

The luxury boutique carries many of my favorite beauty, skincare, fragrance and hair care brands, including Caudalie, Jurlique, Tocca, L'Occitane, By Terry, Sisley-Paris, Bond No. 9 New York, Butter London and Kevyn Aucoin. Many of the brands that are carried are unisex, but Beauty Bar also carries Art of Shaving and Jack Black and for men.

It's not easy to find my favorite brands all in one spot, and many of these brands aren't sold at your local Sephora either. Beauty Bar is a completely different beauty shopping experience.

Beauty Bar's bi-level boutique features two incredible perks - a Treatment Room and Blow Dry Bar. The Treatment Room includes facials, luxe peels and waxing services. For the Blow Dry Bar, Beauty Bar has partnered with nuBest Salon for styling sessions and chic blowouts.

If you can't make it to the Beauty Bar boutique, you can shop your favorite brands atbeautybar.com.

During the launch party guests enjoyed champagne, hors d'oeuvres and complimentary min-facials, makeovers and blowouts. Thanks to Eber for my Jurlique mini-facial and Stacey for my smoky eye Smashbox makeover.
