ARTISTRY Beauty Lounge at New York Fashion Week

The ARTISTRY Beauty Lounge at New York Fashion Week allowed media guests to enjoy special treatments and unwind with food, drinks and complimentary Wi-Fi at the Empire Hotel. I got to experience ARTISTRY's F.A.C.E.S. technology, an exclusive Facial Analysis Computer Evaluation System, complete with a personalized report. I then had a one-on-one consultation at the ARTISTRY Beauty Bar, to customize and choose products based on my facial analysis. 

I was then able to indulge in a luxurious facial, paraffin hand massage and makeover. I got to check out ARTISTRY's latest fall palettes, including Mountain Glow and Après-Ski which 

were both used for my look. Other palettes included Golden Sunset and Alpine Air.

I am also excited to try the new ARTISTRY 14-night restore program, with Deep Night Action 7 Complex, which provides 7 levels of restoration to help correct existing damage, defend against future damage and boost the skin's response to a daily skincare regimen. The 14-night treatment will result in smoother, more hydrated even toned skin, for a healthy glow.

GBK Celebrity Style Lounge at New York Fashion Week

The GBK Celebrity Style Lounge returned to New York Fashion Week on September 6th and 7th at the Empire Hotel. 

Hard Candy offered complimentary makeup touchups and showcased their latest beauty products, and Scunci offered custom faux hair-styling with bangs or ponytail styling options. 

Some of the luxury lifestyle brands at the suite included HotRockJewelry.com, showcasing one of a kind creations using precious and semi precious colored gemstones, Tweezerman, featuring their collaboration with Cynthia Rowley, nail strips and press-on manicures by imPRESS Press-On Manicure by Broadway Nails, eco-luxury face and body products from Izlla, RevitaLash, Beyond the Rack, MODAY, sexy,  contemporary slips and camisoles, G Wear, unique recycled fashion t-shirts, Caribbean Living Magazine, who was gifting celebrities with a one-week stay in the Caribbean, Pilot Pen, featuring the FriXion ball erasable gel ink pens and light erasable highlighters (which comes in handy when planning my fashion week schedule!) and Cutie Pops dolls by Jada Toys, Inc.

New York Fashion Week Lounges September 2012: Duane Street Hotel / Cygalle Healing Spa / Clarins

Between running back and forth between shows and then back to the office, I definitely needed some down time to relax. I always look forward to the Fashion Week lounges, whether it's to re-charge my phone and check my emails, or enjoy a facial or makeup touch up. Here's a look at some new lounges I experienced during Fashion Week Spring 2013.

The Duane Street Hotel Blogger Lounge

Duane Street Hotel hosted a blogger lounge from September 6-13th at 130 Duane Street, with complimentary WiFi, beverages by Perrier, delicious brownies by Chef Jehangir Mehta and special gifts including a REN skin care set and  voucher for a complimentary makeup touch up at Pas De Deux Salon. This was my first time at this boutique hotel, which was a nice quiet and relaxing getaway from all the fashion shows. 

During the week there were special appearances and events held at the blogger lounge, featuring designers Rae Francis and Rebekah Lea. 

The Royal Treatment at Fashion Week

On September 7th and 8th, Cygalle Healing Spa invited media and Fashion Week VIPs to experience 'The Royal Treatment' also hosted by Organic Avenue, Best Drug Rehabilitation and exclusive yoga sessions by Dechen Thurman at The Empire Hotel Rooftop.

Guests enjoyed a complimentary Cygalle Healing Spa massage with hot stone and aromatherapy or True Holistic facial. I immediately felt rejuvenated by the facial, incorporating Cygalle Healing Spa's True Holistic skin care products - Chamomile Licorice Makeup Remover, Spice Face Wash, Cranberry Anti-Oxidant Toner, Volcanic Clay Scrub, Gold Leaf Intensive Eye Treatment, Raspberry Q10 Moisturizer and Sea Pearl Elixir. Clarins Lounge

The Clarins Lounge was also held at The Empire Hotel, providing guests with makeup touchups and hand massages. There were plenty of Clarins products on-hand to familiarize yourself with, coveted samples of the Clarins Beauty Flash Balm, a radiance booster that can also be used as a facial mask.
