Polaroid's 75th Anniversary Party at MoMA

Last night guests celebrated the 75th Anniversary of Polaroid and previewed the new Polaroid Plus Sunglasses Collection at the Museum of Modern Art with Carson Kressley and Whitney Port in attendance. The Misshapes deejayed while drinks flowed with Disaronno - love the Disaronno mixed with blood orange and prosecco!

Whitney Eve Spring 2013

Whitney Eve's inspiration for Spring 2013 stems from The Tower of London and the crown jewels, leading her to create her signature diamond print. Prints and textures are effortlessly mixed together, creating youthful and eclectic pieces. The chic collection can go from day to evening with feminine blouses, wide legged pants, menswear inspired soft tailoring and casual suiting.

This season Whitney Eve presents printed denim, fringed evening gowns, fine gauge knitwear and textured, seamless layering pieces in jacquard prints. My favorites include the white peplum dress, green diamond print jeans, beaded vest with orange diamond print pleated dress, and green diamond print denim vest with seamless green diamond print dress.

Whitney Eve Fall 2012

Whitney Eve Fall 2012 collection, titled "Graphic Kaleidoscope", is inspired by an antique kaleidoscope found at her grandmother's house. Jewel tones, graphic shapes, mixed prints and florals are seen through mini skirts, peplum blouses and leggings. The collection also includes velvet and sequin pieces.

Whitney Port really put her stamp on this collection, as the print minis, leggings and jackets are a part of her signature style.

Whitney Eve Spring 2011

Whitney Eve Spring 2011 is fun, carefree and effortlessly chic. The collection is inspired by California's laid back energy and the edge of New York City.

The palette is refreshing, with pops of color - coral, peach, lavender, electric violet and olive, along with feather, geometric, zebra and ferris wheel prints.

The looks are very wearable for work, a night out with the girls or a date night. My favorite pieces include the lavender bijou lace cami dress and feather print eva ruffle front blazer, peach willow foldover ruffle skirt and the feather print dillon dolman all-in-one.

Tacori Jewelry Launch with Whitney Port

Whitney Port

Whitney Port and Paul Tacorian

I started my evening at the Michael C. Fina store, at 545 Fifth Avenue, to celebrate the launch of Tacori's fashion jewelry line, 18k925, with Whitney Port and Paul Tacorian of Tacori. The 18k925 line is a stylishly modern to the classic Tacori. The 18k925 jewelry compliments Whitney's dresses nicely, both party-ready.

During the event, attendees received a $100 gift card with any purchase from the 18k925 collection. Whitney looked amazing in a Jill Stuart dress and Giuseppe Zanetti shoes.

Shoppers on line waiting to meet Whitney

On Tuesday October 27th, Whitney Port of MTV's The City made a special appearance at Sephora Times Square (42nd St & 7th Ave) with looks on display from the Whitney Eve fall 2009 collection. The event hosted by Allure and Sephora presented customers with a $10 gift card at checkout, to be applied toward their purchase of $10 or more. Customers also received a gift bag including the November issue of Allure and PlantLove botanical lipstick in Eve Pinky by Whitney Port, in collaboration with Cargo Cosmetics. Whitney's signature shade is a flirty, sheer hot pink. The lipstick case is made out of corn, and comes in earth-friendly packaging embedded with wildflower seeds. $2 from the sale of the lipstick goes to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

Attendees eagerly waited their turn to pose for a pic with Whitney and get an autograph. Two lucky attendees won a $100 Sephora gift card.

Check out my re-cap of Whitney's Spring 2010 collection. Whitney carries size XS/0 in her line, so I am all for her chic cocktail dresses.
