Hailey Baldwin + UGG Unveil the Classic Street Collection

On Tuesday, August 23rd, model and It Girl Hailey Baldwin teamed up with UGG® to launch the Classic Street Collection, the next evolution of the brand's iconic Classic Boot silhouette. The launch party took place at Dream Downtown, with a preview of the five styles in the Classic Street Collection, mixing edgy streetwise styling with the unmistakable feel of UGG®. 

Acclaimed photographer Mike Rosenthal captured Baldwin's effortless, street-chic vibe in a breezy, beach-chic photo series shot in Venice Beach, LA, showcasing the contemporary California lifestyle that UGG® embodies.  

The Classic Street Collection, ranging from $150 to $300 USD, features materials that have been pretreated to repel water and stains, and an incredibly lightweight ultra-cushioning Treadlite by UGG® outsole that delivers all-day comfort and maximum wearability. 

The 5-style collection introduces the McKay, a stylish ankle bootie with a buckle strap, the Quincy, an ever-classic combat boot silhouette with lace-up detail and exposed sheepskin, the Cedric and Braiden, that can also be cuffed for a second way to wear, and my favorite, the Sibley, an edgy, knee-hight boot with curved seaming and paneled construction.

Winter Style Featuring UGG Australia and Bernardo

You would never know it was winter by looking at what I am wearing for this shoot. Lucky for us on the east coast, it's been a mild winter, with some days feeling more like fall weather. My new go-to shoes this season are my UGG Australia Athena boots. With a mix of suede and textured leather they can be worn up or folded down, and can be work with anything from jeans or leggings to dresses and or skirts. My Athena boots are super comfortable, wearable all day in the office and to events after work. with a stacked heel and foam insole lined with leather and sheepskin.

The Bernardo PrimaLoft® hooded jacket has a great fit and is super lightweight and packable. It's made with PrimaLoft® insulation, a water-resistant luxury down alternative. As thin as it is, the jacket is surprisingly warm without being bulky. Here's hoping we stay on track for a mild winter or at least get some more of those unseasonably warm days!

UGG Reception & Lounge at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week

It was a great to see UGG Australia this past September, in partnership with Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week as they hosted a cocktail reception and lounge. The cocktail reception was held in the Courtyard at Lincoln Center and included a shoe exchange featuring the UGG Classic Mini in Chestnut and Black. I went with the Chestnut color since it matched my outfit, and also gave me a chance to rest my 5-inch heels. I can't even tell you how comfy it was to switch from heels to a pair of UGG boots.

Guests enjoyed hors d'oeuvres and drinks and was introduced to the UGG Fall/Winter 2014 home collection, from oversized chunky knit blankets and plaid melange throws to classic pillows and luxe sheepskin area rugs. This was my first time previewing the home collection, and it made me want to immediately upgrade to UGG's comfy and cozy blankets and area rugs. 

The Sanctuary by UGG Australia was open daily during fashion week, in the mezzanine of Lincoln Center. The comfort lounge, also accessorized with the UGG home collection, was the perfect place to relax and recharge in between shows with Larabars and BluePrintCleanse.

UGG Australia Fall / Winter 2012

UGG Australia Fall / Winter 2012 is here NYC-style from urban glamour and rugged luxury to street chic. Notable styles include a blend of suede and vintage leather wrapped with buckled straps, leather tipped with shearling including belted details and sheepskin insoles, and sheepskin cuff booties with suede-covered buttons. One of my favorites is the pebbled long leather boots with metal buttons and wooden heel. For a utility feel, there are zipper/lace-up boots with a pop of color and cuffable, lace-up ankle boots, both with a crepe-wrapped heel and rubber tread. The collection also has some motorcycle-inspired styles, like the boots with horizontal quilting and buckles.
