Lela Rose delivers one of my favorite collections for fall, with v neck, draped front and one shoulder dresses inspired by graphite drawing of nighttime skies by Vija Celmins, Hubble Telescope images of lunar floors and the shattered landscape seen on the Galapagos Islands.
The draped and molded shapes represent wind blown eroded landscapes and pyrite zippers highlight materials such as satellite jacquard, lagoon printed canvas, asteroid silk and moon rock embroidery. I love the liquid silks in sulfur, mars red, mercury and cobalt colors. Lela also uses embossed metelasse and fragmented lace.

Halperin - classic ankle- strap pump with a hidden platform, straight heel and round-toe shape. The silhouette is adorned with multi-sized, scattered Swarovski black diamond crystals, depicting constellations of the Milky Way.
Liddell - the sandle version of the Halperin pump. Features an ankle strap, hidden platform sole and straight heel. This open toe shoe has a criss-cross strap for an evening feel, accented with crystal rhinestones.
Whitson - ankle bootie featuring a sculpted curved wedge heel, peep-toe, gunmetal back zipper and "rocky: cut-out details.
Castalia - the high heel version of The Whitson. This suede shoe features a stick straight heel, hidden platform sole as well as the peep-toe and "rocky" cut-out details seen on the Whitson.
Olympia - unique bootie that delivers the sophistication of a sleek pump combined with the warmth and functionality of a ribbed knit sock. Features a visible platform sole, straight heel, round toe and mary jane strap with gunmetal clasp.
