New York GS Shop Global Fashion Collection Fall/Winter 2013

On September 4th, GS Shop Global Fashion Collection for Fall/Winter 2013 featured 5 of Korea's top contemporary designers at The High Line Hotel during New York Fashion Week. The New York GS Shop Global Fashion Collection included SJ WANI from designer Son Jung Wan, ROBO by Jae-hwan Lee, Hyo-soon Joo's Alice & blue, thestudioc by Hye-Jin Hong and Andy & Debb's D ONTHELABEL. 

The runway show featured sophisticated dresses and separates paired with outerwear. There were some sporty luxe looks featuring sequin dresses and wool puffy coats with fur trim. The focus on outerwear also included gorgeous, standout fur vests in red and green, leather jackets and trench coats.

Milly Fall / Winter 2013

Milly's Fall / Winter 2013 collection titled "Illumination", draws inspiration from nighttime urban landscapes. Photorealistic prints stand out from a rich palette comprised of cobalt, glistening charcoals and metallic blacks. Sportswear pieces include sweatshirts, bomber jackets, pencil skirts, and pleat skirts and pants in embossed studded leather, textured and bonded wool, foil printed boucle knits and iridescent lurex fringe. The looks are accessorized with metallic crocodile, watersnake ipad and hologram clutches.

Ashton Michael Fall / Winter 2013

Ashton Michael Fall / Winter 2013 show was part of STYLE360 at the Metropolitan Pavilion during New York Fashion Week. The collection titled "Black Heart", would be the perfect wardrobe for a zombie apocalypse or vampire / supernatural showdown, with bondage-inspired looks featuring body harnesses, jackets with inter-changeable sleeves, quilting at the shoulder, hoods and accentuated collars to disguise the mouth. The monochromatic looks in black, nude and white are made of rich wools, cashmere, stretch lambskin leather and denim.
