Get Ready for the Holidays with B Collection By Bobeau, Hollie Watman and bobble

Get ready for the holidays and with the B by Bobeau Pop Up Shop in the Meatpacking District, at 410 West 14th Street. It's the perfect stopover for your last-minute gifts or picking up new activewear to get ready for the new year! 

I first checked out the pop up shop on December 10th, during a complimentary yoga class to help us get fit and ready for the holidays. The yoga class was hosted by B Collection By Bobeau, Exhale Spa, Hollie Watman, bobble and Rebbl.

After the class I previewed Hollie Watman's athleisure wear collection, and put together an outfit. I immediately fell in love with Hollie Watman's orchid print mesh contour capris (if you love mesh detailing you'll love Hollie Watman, and the XS is a great fit!), which I paired with the B Collection By Bobeau Iris tank in black. bobble helped us stay hydrated for our yoga class, keeping our water cold and refreshing. I love the fashionable colors of the bobble Insulate bottles, especially the  Holiday Insulate designs. I also got to sample some of Rebbl's elixirs, with Maca Mocha as my favorite. 

This is the first ever B Collection By Bobeau retail store in NYC, and the first time I've ever tried their clothing on, which has a great fit and is super comfy! Hollie Watman's NY-based label was just launched in 2016, with a focus on swim and activewear pieces inspired by travel and art. 

The pop up will be around until mid-January, so if you can't make it there before the holidays be sure to make it there after!

It's always great running into Lara of Pretty Connected! She looks amazing in her Hollie Watman outfit. How cool is that mesh hoodie? You can wear it over your swimsuit or workout wear.

Exhale Spa Core Fusion® Class with Elisabeth Halfpapp

On Thursday night I attended a private media Core Fusion® class, taught by co-founder Elisabeth Halfpapp at Exhale Spa at 980 Madison Avenue, between 76th and 77th Streets.

Core Fusion® is a mix of core conditioning, the Lotte Berk Method, Pilates and yoga, resulting in a toned body with washboard abs, and a tighter and higher backside.

If you have long hair, it's best to tie your hair in a bun and be sure to wear fitted workout wear and socks. I didn't know what to expect from the class, except that it was going to be hard core. The one hour session went by quickly since we moved from one position right into the next, so it was easy to keep the momentum going.

I ended up working muscles that I never even knew I had! We had a choice of using 2, 3 or 4 pound weights (I went with the 3 pound weights) for arm strengthening, and also incorporated stretch exercises with the ball and strap. The class finished up with stretching on the mat.

It was an intense, challenging class and I really happy with it. Thank you Elisabeth! I felt sore for the following two days but that was expected. Now I feel ready for another workout! I can't wait to try the new Exhale Core Fusion® Cardio Pure Intensity DVD!

Our Core Fusion® class featured BluePrintCleanse®, which offers six fresh fruit and vegetable juices to drink in place of meals. We received the Green and Spicy Lemonade juices after the class. My favorites are Pineapple and Mint and Spicy Lemonade juices.

HauteLook Lounge at New York Fashion Week Fall 2010 - Day 1

I was looking forward to visiting the HauteLook Lounge again, a temporary escape from the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week tents and off-site shows, if not to check my email then to get my makeup touched up, get a drink and pick up some goodies. I'm glad I took the time to meet with HauteLook's partners and find put more about their products. Thursday, February 18th was the first day HauteLook opened up, at the Bryant Park Hotel.

I am most excited about trying out my airbrush system, compliments of Luminess Air. I had never gotten my makeup airbrushed on before and decided to give it a try. I expected it to feel like a heavy coating, but it felt light and natural, like my own foundation. It went on like a fine mist, with less effort than applying foundation with your fingers or brush. I loved how quick and easy it was, and how evenly it went on - absolutely flawless. Not only can you airbrush foundation, but you can also airbrush on blush, bronzer for a soft glow and a little shimmer as a highlighter.

Not only did Kristen, makeup artist for Luminess Air, do a fantastic job of airbrushing my makeup, she was also very helpful in teaching me how to airbrush the foundation on myself. I was told I was the first person that day to brave trying it out on my own. I held the stylus correctly on my second try, in which you hold it like you are holding a pen. Then you place your index finger on the throttle button and gently push back and spray in a circular motion. I can't wait to try my air system out at home! To be honest I haven't been applying foundation on a regular basis because I am always running out of my house in the morning, but what's an extra minute with a quick spray here and there? Stephanie was also very helpful in explaining the Luminess Air system to me - Thank you! I'll definitely let you know how I do with using it on my own!

Also at the lounge was Exhale Spa, who I am familiar with through Spa Week but have never been to before. I didn't have time for a facial at the lounge so I can't wait to try out their 60 minute True Facial at their spa. Exhale Spa gave away complimentary GRN Blue Chamomile Facial Cleanser and GRN Bearberry+ White Tea Mask. Actifirm has partnered with Exhale Spa, gifting lounge guests with an Actifirm Discovery Kit, including an antioxidant cleanser, renovation serum, actimoist booster, and 10% z-peel.
