Nicholas K Fall/Winter 2017 at New York Fashion Week

 

Nicholas K Fall/Winter 2017 "Built From Scratch' is inspired by the 90s, noting that it was 'a decade promising communal diversity and unity. Recent events seem to unravel this progress and it's now relevant to revisit the promise of the 90s.'

Highlights include leather wrap dresses, silk velvet and metallic ankle boots.The palette includes gold, black, crimson, scarlet, slate, champagne, and snake print. The collection features oversized parkas, berets, headbands, military cargos, wrap shirts, tie skirts and pants, track pants, mini and maxi dresses. 

These key pieces are made with foil and vegetable dyed leather, alpaca, undyed eco cashmere, artisan ekats, silk satins, cotton sateen, silk / cottons, organic cottons and shearling.
