KYBOE! NYFW Runway Show

On Saturday, September 10th, KYBOE! made their New York Fashion Week debut at The Arc at Skylight at Moynihan Station. This show was fun, energetic and all about bold, colorful watches! The models were all smiles, holding their poses at the end of the runway, with the watches front and center. 

There's a few things we found out about KYBOE! at the start of the show, with a brief video introduction. There are over 350 styles with 180 different color combinations. KYBOE! has watches to fit every wrist: small (40mm), medium (48mm), and large (55mm) and illuminates with 360 degrees of LED light. The watches are water-resistant up to 100 meters / 330 feet, so you can shower, swim or scuba dive with your watch.

Daniel Wellington Holiday Pop-Up Shop in NYC

As you get to your holiday gifting, one of the top gifts I'd recommend is a Daniel Wellington watch, which you'll also want for yourself! On November 19th, I had the pleasure of attending the launch of Daniel Wellington's first-ever pop-up shop in NYC, located at 355 Bowery in Lower East Side.

At the holiday pop-up, there is a custom embosser on site to help you personalize and monogram your watch. You can add custom straps or have your initials heat-stamped onto the leather band. Your watch purchase also comes in a beautiful leather box.

Grand Opening of TAG Heuer's NYC Flagship Boutique Hosted by Cameron Diaz

On Tuesday, January 28th, TAG Heuer and celebrity Ambassador Cameron Diaz kicked off the grand opening of the first TAG Heuer New York City flagship store with a ribbon cutting ceremony at 701 Fifth Avenue, between 54th and 55th Street. The celebration continued with a private cocktail party at the Museum of Modern Art. 

Cameron Diaz looked gorgeous, sporting a stunning rose gold TAG Heuer at the party.

Casio G-Shock's 30th Anniversary with Performance by Eminem

On Wednesday, August 7th, Casio G-Shock celebrated their 30th anniversary with a press conference featuring special guests James Marsden, Jessica Stam, Brook Lopez and Louie Vito at Basketball City, 299 South Street, Pier #34. During the press conference, three exclusive timepieces were presented: MTG, Rangeman and GDX6900.

The excitement centered around the MT-G Metal Twisted G-Shock Collection, consisting of luxury timepieces creafted at Casio's advanced factory in Yamagata, Japan, for select premium styles. Jessica Stam introduced the fashionable Baby-G BA110, BA111 and BA112 timepieces, available in nine colorways with a layered 3D metallic face. My favorite is the white Baby-G with rose gold, which would look perfect on a petite wrist. Other announcements included the launch of the new 2nd Generation Bluetooth model, lightening yellow models, G-Aviation model and many more.

After the press conference, guests enjoyed an opening act performance by Yelawolf and the anticipated hour long performance by Eminem, singing "Criminal", "Lose Yourself", Won't Back Down", and "Love The Way You Lie".

G-Shock 30th Anniversary Press Conference and Performance by Eminem

On August 9th, I attended G-Shock's multimedia press conference at Manhattan Center, including a meet-and-greet with the G-Shock athlete roster and the creators of the legendary timepiece. Attendees were taken through a retrospective of G-Shock’s innovative technology and previewed upcoming product releases. New collaboration models between Eric Haze, DGK, Clot and Burton were showcased in addition to limited edition 30th Anniversary tribute models set to hit stores later this year.

The festivities continued with an exclusive 30th Anniversary after party with Slaughterhouse opening for Eminem, who took the stage for a private concert following the news of a G-Shock and Eminem collaborative timepiece that will be released in Fall of 2013.
