Valentine's Day Beauty Gifts

These are some of my top beauty picks from skincare to fragrances to indulge in this Valentine's Day, from KORRES, Image Skincare and Caswell-Massey.

Caswell-Massey collection in collaboration with New York Botanical Garden includes fragrances, hand creams and bar soaps. Since I like masculine unisex fragrances, one of my favorite scents in the collection is RÒS, developed with the Master Gardeners at the New York Botanical Garden and Senior Perfumer Laurent Le Guernec from a living floral 'Scepter'd' Rose' that bears three roses on each stem, blossoming throughout the summer in the southeast promenade of the Peggy Rockefeller Rose Garden at the New York Botanical Garden. 

This sophisticated scent with a masculine character bears top notes of Citrus and a heart of Dark Spice, Amber & Anise. Other fragrances in the collection include Beatrix, Gardenia, Honeysuckle and Lilac. Since the process of developing the scents is so unique, all of the fragrances smell very much like the actual flowers at the New York Botanical Garden! They really are the best smelling florals out there!

Valentine's Day Fragrance Pick: Issey Miyake L'Eau d'Issey Pure

My fragrance pick this Valentine's Day: Issey Miyake L'Eau d'Issey Pure, which made it's debut Summer 2016. This is definitely my favorite of Issey Miyake's fragrances. It is reminiscent of cool, crystal-clear waters of the ocean and water drops floating gracefully on a radiant bouquet of feminine flowers. It's the type of fragrance you can wear all day to the office and all night. 

Issey Miyake L'Eau d'Issey Pure has notes of Maratima, Ambergris, Lily of the Valley, Orange Blossom, Jasmine, Damask Rose and Cashmeran. The style of this fragrance is pure, elegant and modern.  

Issey Miyake L'Eau d'Issey Pure is available at Sephora, in a 3 oz / 90 mL size for $109 or 1.6 oz eau de parfum spray for $89.

With Valentine's Day is just a few days away, here's a look at the Accessories Council top picks for your last minute gifts!

Eye of the Sea features handmade beaded bracelets and signature charms from Greece, such as the Rose Quartz Crystal Bracelet ($50). GODIVA Truffle Flights for Valentine's Day

Accessories Council Top Picks for Valentine's Day

Last week, the Accessories Council unveiled top picks for Valentine's Day, hosted by Accessories Council President, Karen Giberson and TV personality and best-selling author, Jene Luciani. 

Jewelry is always a popular choice for Valentine's Day, and this season I'm excited about the Boy Meets Girl® x Roman Luxe Jewelry Collection, featuring my favorite, the Triple Spike Pendant Necklace ($150) with pave crystals, black faux-leather and enamel.

When I think of Dr. Scholl's shoes I always think of their original sandal with the iconic wooden bottom, and loved seeing the new Dr. Scholl's Justify polka dot oxfords. I didn't realize all the shoe options they have, from sneakers and sandals to boots. 

I always get excited over a new pair of sunglasses, like the sporty and stylish Under Armour AU Align in shiny crystal tortoise (on sale for $89.99 at zappos.com). These performance sunglasses are comfortable and lightweight and perfect for jogging this spring. 

You can never have too many umbrellas, and I notice when I use ones with more fashionable prints, I pay extra attention to make sure I don't lose them or forget them somewhere! Madden Girl umbrellas feature fun aztec, mustache and polka dot prints this season. A favorite for trekking around the city is the Steve Madden Crossbody in black with studded details, adding a little edge to your outfit.
