Kendra Scott Davie Sunglasses

In case you are still wondering what to gift your loved ones or yourself this holiday season, here are my top accessory picks!

Zarah Juan PUJ Micro Bag

Filipino handbag brand Zarah Juan has a fun and quirky style to their handbags, with one of my favorites being the PUJ Micro Bag, inspired by the iconic Philippine jeepney. This bag is handcrafted by Cavite artisans in a variety of color options. 

There are so many other Zara Juan bags that have caught my eye including the Aklat Mini Bag made of hand-carved wood for the book lover, Boombox Bag or Silang Pineapple Bag.

Blue Francis Cross Twinkle Necklace

Blue Francis is known for their children's jewelry, but honestly it can be jewelry for any age. I love the concept of keepsake jewelry and how this can even be passed down from generation to generation. It makes such a nice gift and the pieces are great for layering together. My favorite piece is the Cross Twinkle Necklace with cubic zirconia stones. 

Emily in Paris Glass Stone & Cubic Zirconia Gold-Tone Pave Box Ring

If you are a fan of the hit show Emily in Paris, you are going to want some of the jewelry pieces from the Emily in Pars collection by The Jewelry Group, available at Macy's. My favorites are the Glass Stone & Cubic Zirconia Gold-Tone Pave Box Ring and Glass Pearl, Glass Stone & Cubic Zirconia Gold-Tone Loop Ring.

Hammitt Syd Pouch

Hammitt has great gifts under $100 including the Syd Pouch, and pairs perfectly with the Kyle Med bag. This pouch is so compact you can easily just drop it into your coat pocket or clutch bag. I love how soft and slouchy the Kyle Med bag is in a classic black pebble leather.

Mother's Day Accessories Gift Guide 2024

 

Looking for a gift for Mother's Day? Here's my accessories gift guide picks for umbrellas, handbags and jewelry. 

Shed Rain is celebrating their 75th anniversary this year. I've always wanted to try one of their umbrellas and now that I have no other one will do! They have so many different umbrella options from compact ones to larger umbrellas for those days when it's non-stop rain.

My favorite from Shed Rain is the Artist Series Studio Proba Reverse Close Stick Umbrella with a vibrant design. The two-layer canopy is made of 100% recycled polyester from  plastic water bottles. The unique reverse closing keeps water inside the umbrella and away from you when you close your umbrella. Also has UPF 50+ sun protection and a rubber coated hands-free handle.

Hammitt LA is known for their super soft, buttery leather handbags and reinforced gold rivets and hardware detail. The bags also include exterior and interior pockets for your cell phone and credit cards. They come in a number of styles including crossbody, clutch, satchel, shoulder and tote bags.

Sattaché is a covertible bag for on-the-go shoe storage, oerfect for when you need to carry a change of shoes for commuter or vacation travel. It can be worn as a crossbody, over your tote, backpack or handheld and comes with a canvas strap, metal chain and extra drawstring bag for larger shoes. It is also eco-friendly and durable, made of water-resistant recycled materials and PETA approved vegan leather. 

When not used as a shoe bag, it's also great to carry your water bottle or compact umbrella. I commute every day to work in the city, so this bag will come in handy when I have to switch into heels at the office or before going to events after work. I can also see myself using this when I have to carry my heels with me to a red carpet event, or when I want to do a photo shoot during my travels and need to change from walking shoes into heels. Adina's Jewels Baby Figaro Necklace, $50

Adina's Jewels include trendy pieces such as charm and chain necklaces, pendants, chokers and more, all great for layering together. Two of my top picks for layering is the Baby Figaro Necklace, in gold plated sterling silver, and the Double Sided Herringbone Necklace.

Accessories Council Holiday Gift Picks 2015

Here are my top ten favorite highlights from the Accessories Council holiday preview. There are some great gift ideas for shopping for those last-minute or post-holiday gifts, along with some items you may want to pick up for yourself! 

During the Ace Awards last month, MR. was announced as the winner of the 2016 Emerging Designer competition. Heather Hubbard presents an exciting holiday collection, featuring leather and suede fringe bags and colorblock clutches. You can find MR. handbags at Bloomingdale's and Ssaks Fifth Avenue, 

Nothing feels like winter like chunky hand-knit accessories. I love the fall/winter accessories that the3rdpiece.com can add to your edgy look, including cabled infinity scarves, fingerless knits, cowl scarves with a fringe border, beanies and headbands. Or if you prefer DIY gifts, you can create your own designer pieces! On their website they offer knit packages that include a downloadable patterns. 

Luxchillas has expanded their line to offer bucket mochila bags embellished with crystals and leather fringe for a luxe, boho-chic look, handcrafted by Wayuu Indigenous of Columbia. 

Pluma Jewelry creates gorgeous statement pieces made with gemstones and geodes like azurite, malachite and apopthyllite. I lvoe the whole look of pairing stones with metal, and even layering the pieces to create a bolder look. This is definitely on my own list to shop!

Black Lace Skin Jewelry is the luxe version of flash tatoos! They are made of the finest glitters, Swarovski elements, silks and satins and metallic gold and silver foil inks. The designs are inspired by Medieval times, with a modern, edgy twist. Their designs include Fleur de lis, royal crowns, roses, hearts, gothic crosses, crystal beaded snakes, thorns and feathers. They are hypoallergenic, self-adhesive and waterproof!

3D printing is taken to a hole other level, with jewelry designs by John Brevard. His rings, earrings, pendants and necklaces are inspired by natural geometries and phenomenology. 

Christina Greene jewelry is made of unique one of a kind handmade designs, incorporating natural stones from all over the world - amethyst, black onyx, labradorite, lapis, orange quartz, pearl, pyrite, red quartz and turquoise. Lapis and pyrite are some of my favorite stones - her designs definitely make beautiful gifts!

Deondra Jereé handbags are made of luxurious leather, with red being a prominent color this holiday season. Her designs are available as a backpack, clutch, crossbody, bucket bag, small leather goods and more. Her collection includes colorblocking, tassels and gold tone studs. 

Laudi Vidni reminds me a lot like Shoes of Prey except for handbags! A custom gift is the perfect gift to treat yourself to and play designer. With pouchettes starting at $75 and wristlets starting at $95, you can create your own accessory, choosing from 21 styles, 50 leathers, luxurious finishes and hand-brushed hardware and beautiful linings. Your custom designed bag arrives at your door within 4 - 8 weeks! One of my favorites is the Legato Fringe, starting at $195. 

I have already gotten so many compliments on the Rave Metal Clutch in Silver by Glass Handbag. I wore it to the International Emmy Awards last month and also used it for a recent style post (coming soon)! This limited edition bag is so unique, since it has a built-in electroluminescent lighting system and also comes with the batteries. 

The light panel built into the bag lasts about 25,000 hours. The battery life of the bag depends on the use, but typically if you use your bag every day the battery should last one month. In addition to this clutch there are a number of different handbag styles available, including crossbody, satchel, evening and vegan bags. 

I am always saying how I wish I had a bag equipped with a light when you open it up, and it looks like I got my wish!
