The Society Fashion Week x House of Barretti Gifting Suite at New York Fashion Week 2021

It's always exciting to see the latest trends and exciting new collections on the runway, but I also love showcasing sponsored brands that help support these shows. 

On September 11, 2021, I attended The Society Fashion Week x House of Barretti gifting suite / after party in Manhattan, hosted by designer and teen millionaire Isabella Barrett, who was so inspiring and energetic as she took me through the suite to meet with the brands. Check out some of my favorite brands that I met with - L. Styles, LLC, Kocostar, Patchology and Candies.

TeLeigha Peavy is the designer of L. Styles, LLC, showcasing her handcrafted jewelry with styles ranging from chunky, tribal, artsy and bold using grade AAA semi-precious gemstones, certified precious stones, GIA certified natural untreated diamonds, swarovski crystals, genuine leather, stainless steel chain links and beads. The jewelry on display included necklaces and bracelets that are both unique and luxurious looking statement pieces. 

Kocostar is a brand I am familiar with, notably for their sheet masks. I was excited to see a mask I haven't tried yet, their Rose Flower Mask Sheet as well as the Mask Zone Cream. 

The Rose Flower Mask Sheet has a unique design in that it looks like real rose petals, in which you can remove each petal one by one and stick it onto any part of your face or neck.

With all the mask-wearing going on, the Mask Zone Cream helps to maintain the skin balance and protect skin against constant mask use. This cream helps to condition your lips, cheeks and chin area. 

Patchology is another brand that is known for their eye gels and facial sheet masks. I've used both their eye gels and sheet masks at home or when I'm traveling, even on the plane. Here they were introducing the Breakout Box, a 3-in-1 acne kit including blackhead-eliminating charcoal nose strips, pimple-shrinking salicylic acid dots, and whitehead-absorbing hydrocolloid dots. 

Also great to see in the gifting suite is Candie's Beauty! You may know Candie's for it's clothing or shoes, but I always think of iconic fragrance first, Candie's Legacy Her which unexpected layers of vibrant with Pink Currant, Tart Kiwi, Lemon and Pineapple Pulp, with a veil of Jasmine and Pear Blossom.

GBK & Pilot Pen Luxury Gift and Style Lounge

GBK, in partnership with Pilot Pen, held their annual luxury style lounge during New York Fashion Week on September 5th and 6th at the Empire Hotel. "It's all about style!" at the GBK lounge this season, from jewelry to ultra stylish Pilot Pen FriXion Clickers, that easily writes and erases for making those writing mistakes disappear. 

Celebrity Guests that stopped by the lounge included Perez Hilton and Selenis Leyva from Orange is the New Black.

I arrived at the lounge when everyone started closing down and packing up, but there were a few brands I was able to meet with. Michael Todd True Organics, introduced SONICLEAR, the world's first antimicrobial sonic skin cleansing brush. I look forward to trying it out, feeling assured that these brushes will stay cleaner and fresher longer, and guard against bacteria. Michael Todd Organics were also featuring the brand new Sonic Eraser, a 3x anti-aging device that uses sonic, ionic and thermal technologies to reduce those dark circles and puffy eyes, reducing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles and making sure the eye serums and creams you are using really get absorbed into your skin. 

I was sad to have missed Hard Candy, as they have been sponsors at the GBK lounge for as long as I can remember. They have an array of mascaras but I love the Flat to Fab Mascara and Ginormous Lash Mascara + Lash Boosting Serum. I also love their All Glossed Up lip crayons and Megawatt Smile lipsticks. Guests visiting Hard Candy were treated to makeovers, makeup touch ups and hair and manicures.

Skinny&Co featured their Skinny Coconut Oil is the only 100% RAW, supplement grade coconut oil in the world. It is reported to provide sustained energy, boost metabolism leading to weight loss and increase brain clarity. 

Palace Resorts in association with Caribbean Living were spotlighting the all-inclusive Moon Palace Golf & Spa Resort in Cancun. 

Other brands featured at the lounge included Brow Art 23, EMK Beverly Hills, JeJu Sixteen Water, LUMINITA, sterling silver jewelry by Cynthia Gale, Jane Basch Jewelry. Robdechi, Hydroxycut Drops, The Artisan Group and Princess London Shoes.

Caravan Stylist Studio Gifting Suite

On June 20th, I returned to Caravan Stylist Studio at The Carlton Hotel to checkout the Summertime Gifting Suite, which featured glasses.com, LeSportsac, Nautica beach towels, swimwear by Cielo Rosso, sundresses by Bobi, flats by Oka B, jewelry by Joanna Laura Constantine and eBay x CFDA "You Can't Fake Fashion" totes. It was also great learning about Emma Bell's (played Andrea's sister, Amy, on The Walking Dead) project with Seeds of Change. Love the necklace that came with the organic seeds! 

I excited to learn about glasses.com, who will be launching their 3D Virtual Try-On iPad app within the next few weeks. It was fun to try it out the app, using the iPad's camera to create a 3D model of my face to try on and view more than 100 frames in less than a minute. The 3Dfit technology also allows you to view any frame from any angle, perfectly scaled to your face. You can also compare frames using side-by-side images, save your favorite styles or send the images to family and friends. Glasses.com carries a wide range of styles, from retro chic to modern classics. I wear both eyeglasses and sunglasses, so it was great to see a lot of my favorite brands available, including Oakley, Burberry, Chloe, Derek Lam, Versace, BCBGMAXAZRIA, Guess and Roberto Cavalli, plus shipping is free! I've been obsessing over rose gold lately, so the Oakley Daisy Chain sunglasses are my favorite pair! Can't wait to get those!

Caravan Stylist Studio is a full service wardrobe and beauty studio, connecting media, VIPs and celebrities with top designers and beauty brands. Caravan has fabulously gotten me photo shoot-ready and has gorgeously prepped celebrities for red carpet events, premieres and upfronts.

GBK Celebrity Style Lounge at New York Fashion Week

The GBK Celebrity Style Lounge returned to New York Fashion Week on September 6th and 7th at the Empire Hotel. 

Hard Candy offered complimentary makeup touchups and showcased their latest beauty products, and Scunci offered custom faux hair-styling with bangs or ponytail styling options. 

Some of the luxury lifestyle brands at the suite included HotRockJewelry.com, showcasing one of a kind creations using precious and semi precious colored gemstones, Tweezerman, featuring their collaboration with Cynthia Rowley, nail strips and press-on manicures by imPRESS Press-On Manicure by Broadway Nails, eco-luxury face and body products from Izlla, RevitaLash, Beyond the Rack, MODAY, sexy,  contemporary slips and camisoles, G Wear, unique recycled fashion t-shirts, Caribbean Living Magazine, who was gifting celebrities with a one-week stay in the Caribbean, Pilot Pen, featuring the FriXion ball erasable gel ink pens and light erasable highlighters (which comes in handy when planning my fashion week schedule!) and Cutie Pops dolls by Jada Toys, Inc.
