Sporty Style Featuring Tamar Collection and LeSportsac

Sports bra: Alexander Wang x H&M
Trackpants: Tamar Collection
Wedge sneakers: Simply Vera Vera Wang for Kohl's
Weekender bag: LeSportsac
Sunglasses: Oakley

Before the temps drop, I've been indulging in my sporty side without having to wear all the extra layers. I am really hooked on these black laser-cut vegan leather trackpants from Tamar Collection. Originally I wasn't sure about the fit since the smallest size starts at size Small / 4-6, but I went ahead and folded the waistband and was pleasantly surprised to find that the trackpants fit comfortably. The Tamar Collection crop top I got also has a great fit. The trackpants can also be paired with the crop top or tank top with heels. The trackpants are now available in Camel, and I definitely have my eye on other pieces from Tamar Collection, including the new Oxblood vegan leather top.

The LeSportsac Medium Weekender in Black Crinkle Patent, which works for running around the city or just going to the gym. It's also perfect for those long days during fashion week while trekking between fashion shows and lounges. I love all the front, back and side zipped pockets, which makes it easy to store on-the-go essentials like my metro card, headphones, phone charger or umbrella.

A sleek sports bra with contrast color, slouchy trackpants or joggers, wedge sneakers and a duffel bag is my go-to pieces for my fashionable, sporty style.

Caravan Stylist Studio Gifting Suite

On June 20th, I returned to Caravan Stylist Studio at The Carlton Hotel to checkout the Summertime Gifting Suite, which featured glasses.com, LeSportsac, Nautica beach towels, swimwear by Cielo Rosso, sundresses by Bobi, flats by Oka B, jewelry by Joanna Laura Constantine and eBay x CFDA "You Can't Fake Fashion" totes. It was also great learning about Emma Bell's (played Andrea's sister, Amy, on The Walking Dead) project with Seeds of Change. Love the necklace that came with the organic seeds!

I excited to learn about glasses.com, who will be launching their 3D Virtual Try-On iPad app within the next few weeks. It was fun to try it out the app, using the iPad's camera to create a 3D model of my face to try on and view more than 100 frames in less than a minute. The 3Dfit technology also allows you to view any frame from any angle, perfectly scaled to your face. You can also compare frames using side-by-side images, save your favorite styles or send the images to family and friends. Glasses.com carries a wide range of styles, from retro chic to modern classics. I wear both eyeglasses and sunglasses, so it was great to see a lot of my favorite brands available, including Oakley, Burberry, Chloe, Derek Lam, Versace, BCBGMAXAZRIA, Guess and Roberto Cavalli, plus shipping is free! I've been obsessing over rose gold lately, so the Oakley Daisy Chain sunglasses are my favorite pair! Can't wait to get those!

Caravan Stylist Studio is a full service wardrobe and beauty studio, connecting media, VIPs and celebrities with top designers and beauty brands. Caravan has fabulously gotten me photo shoot-ready and has gorgeously prepped celebrities for red carpet events, premieres and upfronts.

At the studio, celebrity nail artist Sunshine, accented my nails with Zoya nail polish and Valerie Star styled my hair with BaByliss Pro styling tools and Salon Grafix hair products. Thank you again to Claudine, Valerie and Tide Pods for inviting me back!

LeSportsac's New Artist in Residence - Jeremyville for Spring/Summer 2011

LeSportsac welcomes Jeremyville as the new Artist in Residence for Spring/Summer 2011. The theme created for LeSportsac is titled "Inspirations". There are three themes in the collection:

  • Jeremyville NYC, including street names, iconic architecture and signage, with particular inspiration from The Lower East Side.

  • Bondi Beach Sketchbook, which is based on scenes from Bondi Beach, where Jeremyville grew up as a kid.

  • Tomorrow Forest, an imaginary world taken from jeremyville's sketchbooks, populated with furry creatures, engmatic bird people and smiling mushroom creatures.

My favorite character is the Magic Bunny, the furry muse of Jeremyville and mascot of the "Inspirations" theme. Within the Jeremyville collection you'll find cosmetic bags, snack sacs, totes, hobos, crossbody bags, backpacks, duffles and messenger bags, but my favorites include the two pieces that focus on the Magic Bunny - Bunny Tote, $98 and Bunny Pouch, $15.

The Cupcake Wonderland scenes are also a favorite of mine!

COVERGIRL for LeSportsac Launch Party

Makeup Artist Pat McGrath

On June 15th, I attended the COVERGIRL for LeSportsac launch party at the LeSportsac Soho store at 118 Greene Street. The launch celebrated the COVERGIRL for LeSportsac cosmetic bags, designed in collaboration with legendary makeup artist Pat McGrath.

These limited edition accessory bags come in black patent/yellow, inspired by the slender tube of COVERGIRL LashBlast Length Mascara.

Guests enjoyed drinks, hors d'oeuvres and a photo booth for taking fun, individual or group shots with friends. Upon leaving, guests received a gift bag with goodies from COVERGIRL and LeSportsac.
