Target Everyday Cafe at New York Fashion Week

During this season of New York Fashion Week, February 7-13th, fashionistas lounged at the Target Everyday Cafe 459 inside Chelsea Market, directly across from MILK Studios. Guests enjoyed snacks, refreshments and wi-fi while viewing The Everyday Collection from Target, a fusion of food and fashion that brings to life everyday items through custom designs. Some of the displays included a dress made of socks, a blazer made out of fruit-filled snacks and a pair of heels with oatmeal detailing.

The lounge also had a daily themed kits, filled with emergency items like the Tide To Go Instant Stain Remover, socks, Merona socks, Neutrogena make-up remover towelettes and an empty travel bottle for Monday's "Get Clean" kit. The best part of the lounge for me was the phone-charging lockers, indulging in organic peppermint tea and picking up the kit of the day.

Birchbox Sample Stop at New York Fashion Week

The Birchbox Sample Stop, inside Chelsea Market and directly across from MILK Studios, was by far my favorite lounge this fashion week season. Beauty, skin care and hair care brands were featured throughout the week, with treatments and touchups from Amika, Jouer, Youngbood, Fresh, Oscar Blondi, Shu Uemura and more.  Attendees enjoyed prepping between shows with complimentary hair and makeup, manicures and brow shaping.

I loved the Make-Your-Own Birchbox station, where you pick out beauty, skin care and hair care samples, which is even wrapped up for you on the spot. Some of the must-haves included the Beautyblender makeup sponge, Oscar Blondi volumizing dry shampoo, per-fekt skin perfection gel, Fresh sugar rose tinted lip treatment SPF 15 and Color Club nail lacquer in a bold shade of blue called Insta-This.

The Birchbox Survival Bar allowed guests to stock up with fashion week necessities such as Band-Aids by Cynthia Rowley and boscia green tea blotting linens.

There was plenty of room for charging phones and tablets, while lounging and enjoying candy and refreshments. Guys were treated to manicures and shoe shines compliments of John Allan's, as well as a special men's Birchbox.

There were times where I just went ahead and skipped some shows because I was having way too much fun and relaxation at the Birchbox Sample Stop. It is the most organized lounge I've ever been to since there was plenty of staff taking care of hair, makeup, nail and brow appointments and helping you make your own Birchbox. Normally you'd wait an eternity to get hair and makeup done but treatments moved along quickly because of the multiple stations. It truly was the perfect sized lounge and beauty and skincare sample heaven! I do hope Birchbox comes back for another season of fashion week!
