iPhone Accessories Holiday Gift Guide 2023

With every new iPhone launch also comes new accessories! I used to have dozens of cases that I used to switch to match my outfits or my mood, but these days I'd rather have fewer cases that I can call my favorites. Check out my round up of phone cases for this season!

I always seem to buy a new iPhone right before the new model comes out. Last time it was because my battery kept dying, this time it's because I lost my phone. While many people are looking for iPhone 15 cases, I have my eyes set on ones for the iPhone 14 Pro. This case is great for anyone that loves earth tones and neutrals. This one comes in Saffiano leather, with a back case that opens up to reveal two card slots.

If you happen to have an iPhone 14 Plus, then you are in luck! Instead of $40 you can find this for $14.99 at Target. The 14 Pro can be found on Amazon for $34.49. This case has a gold glitz and glamour feel with an art deco vibe, inspired by a sparkling chandelier.

These Burga cases are definitely on my gifting list (for myself lol). I love the designs, especially this marble one, and they look sturdy too. They also come in all different sized cases.

I'm still shocked I don't own AirPods yet, but this would be my case of choice! I love the Moschino bear! I wish there was a phone case in the shape of the bear.

XGIMI MoGo 2 Pro Portable Projector

Earlier this year XGIMI launched the MoGo 2 Pro Portable Projector. It is the first smart portable projector, engineered to provide professional visual and sound experience in and around your home. I love the compact design, making it easy to move it to any room and stream on the wall, ceiling, or outside. It's also great to travel with. When I previewed the XGIMI next to a competitor brand, it was easy to see the crispness and clarity with the XGIMI, as well as incredible sound quality.

The XGIMI MoGo 2 Pro also has fully automated uninterrupted image correction, intelligent obstacle avoidance (will automatically scale the image around objects in view) and intelligent screen alignment, automatically match the projected image with your projector screen, regardless of the size.

More features of the XGIMI MOGO 2 Pro:

  • Hollywood-Standard Visuals: With 400 ISO lumens, integrated D65 color temperature standard adopted by Hollywood, and a 90% DCI-P3 color gamut, all colors are restored in brilliant, lifelike detail.
  • Seamless Setup, Smart Projecting in a Snap: New ISA 2.0 technology ensures you never miss a moment of your favorite movies, TV shows, or games.
  • 8W Speakers with Dolby Audio: MoGo 2 Pro offers a deeply immersive and cinematic audio experience thanks to its built-in dual 8W speakers with Dolby Audio.
  • Smooth Android TV 11.0 and 3D Movies at Home: Decodes 4K video seamlessly and supports 3D content. Moreover, the upgraded Android TV 11.0 provides the ultimate user-friendly viewing experience.
  • Movies on the Go: Easily connect MoGo 2 Pro to your power bank, allowing you to move it to different rooms or take it on your next outdoor adventure.

iPhone Case Holiday Gift Guide 2021

With the recent launch of the iPhone 13 series and many people upgrading their phones, now is the perfect time to gift a new iPhone case, or start the new year off with a new case for yourself. Here are a few of my favorite fashionable and functional cases.

The Pretty Connected Belle Pearl Chain + iPhone Case is the perfect gift for the fashionista. This clear case is paired with a pearl chain (the pearl chain can also be purchased on its own), and can also be swapped out worn with other Pretty Connected silver, mermaid or gold chain straps, including the KESHA x PC Yin Yang Braided Multi-Use Necklace to Mask Chain. This case is perfect to carry or wear on your wrist when you don't have a purse or pockets to store your phone. It's not only an accessory for your phone, but for your entire outfit!

Who needs a wallet when you have the Mujjo Full Leather Wallet Case! This phone case and wallet in one is made with high-quality full-grain vegetable tanned leather and a luxurious Japanese microfiber lining. The leather pocket on the back is designed to hold 2-3 cards, just enough for everything you need on the go:  license, bank or credit card and a metro card. The back pocket is beautifully stitched, and the buttons are full covered in leather. I can't wait to see how this cases ages, as the leather will develop a unique patina and transition from tan to a deep, dark amber. Since I have the iPhone 12 Pro, this case is also available in Black, Slate Green and Monaco blue. For the iPhone 13 series, it is available in Black and Monaco Blue.

The Purity "Chlorite Ring" iPhone Case, named after the mineral, is a for the fashionista that loves both color and marble for this unique design, with the ring attached. They make a variety of stylish cases that caught my eye but this one is my favorite.

Lenovo Yoga 730 13" Laptop Review

I've been a fan of the Lenovo Yoga laptop for years, having reviewed the Ideapad Yoga 11S, Yoga Tablet 8Yoga 2 Pro, and Yoga Tablet 2 in the past. So I just had to test out the Lenovo Yoga 730 13" laptop, especially since I haven't had a Lenovo product in my possession for a few years now.

My favorite features of this laptop are definitely its versatility to change from laptop to tablet mode, touch screen capability, and a screen with picture perfect high-definition. It also has 360° sound, which you really experience when you put your headphones on.

Since I'm always on my laptop if I'm home, that also means I don't have a laptop to watch Netflix on or catch up on favorite shows online. This is why I love having the Lenovo Yoga 730 around. It's great for binge watching shows (I binge watched the Syfy 12 Monkeys series all over again and caught up on Grey's Anatomy episodes).

With the amazing audio and screen clarity, I find it hard to want to watch shows or movies on any other laptop. I love this laptop for the same reasons I always have, but these features seem more enhanced.

The Lenovo Yoga 730 also has a fast start up, long lasting battery and charges up pretty quickly. Another feature that is new to me since I've used a Lenovo Yoga laptop is Cortana as a voice-activated digital assistant to help you work faster by opening apps, setting reminders or answering your questions.

Along with the versatility of the 360° design of the four different modes - laptop, stand, tablet, and tent, I love the sleek design of the laptop itself, and the fact that it's thin, lightweight (2.74 lbs) and easy to travel with. I took it to San Francisco a few weeks ago and also brought it out with me locally to the park and my favorite cafe. The Iron Grey color is just my style, as I've always preferred my tech products in Silver or Grey.

If I could put one product on my wishlist this holiday season, the Lenovo Yoga 730 13" laptop would be at the top of my list!

I'm also excited about my new Vionic Shoes! The Whitney Ankle Boot is made of suede and neoprene for a comfortable fit and has a 3.1" heel height so it's not too high. It's perfect to wear out and about on the weekends or a full day at the office. I have several pairs of ankle booties in brown and black, and what I really needed was a pair in grey and I love this charcoal shade!

    Sweater: Marc by Marc Jacobs
    Jeans: American Eagle
    Shoes: Vionic Shoes
    Sunglasses: Quay Australia
    Necklace: Deepa Gurnani

The cases below are for the iPhone 7/8 Plus but T-Mobile also has cases available for the iPhone 7/8, iPhone X and Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus. Wester Digital's newest portable external hard drives have a new look with My Passport, with a version for Mac too.

SanDisk Connect Wireless Stick and iXpand Flash Drive are perfect for backing up photos and videos. People have asked me what they can use to backup Facebook and Instagram photos and the iXpand is great for this.
