New Jersey Launch of The Glam App

On August 13th, I stopped over at the W Hoboken to celebrate the New Jersey launch of The Glam App, hosted by Felicia Walker Benson. The new beauty on demand app, founded by Actress/Blogger Cara Santana and Celebrity Makeup Artist Joey Maalouf, gives you direct access to stylists in the comfort of your home, office, hotel room - where ever you need it, starting at $40 for hair, makeup and nail services. Bloggers enjoyed cocktails and complementary hair, makeup and nail touch ups.

Emmy Rossum Spring Manicure by butter LONDON

Looking for an amazing spring mani? Take note of Emmy Rossum’s latest butter LONDON manicure created by Global Colour Ambassador, Katie Jane Hughes.

Nail Look How To:

· Katie began by applying butter LONDON’s Nail Foundation Flawless Base Coat to hide and smooth tiny ridges and imperfections in the nail.

· Katie then used butter LONDON Nail Lacquer in Cotton Buds to create a half-moon at the bottom of the nail, leaving the top half nude and giving the nail a “floating nail art” look.

· To finish the look and add dimension, Katie added a dot of butter LONDON Nail Lacquer in Sprog to the middle of the white moon, followed by a dot of butter LONDON Nail Lacquer in Union Jack Black.

Emmy Rossum Mani by butter LONDON

For my weekend mani, I took nailspiration from Van Gogh and Emmy Rossum's latest butter LONDON manicure created by Gloal Colour Ambassador, Katie Jane Hughes.

Nail Look How To:
· Katie began by applying butter LONDON’s Patent Gel Top & Tails for a chip-free and long lasting wear.
· Katie then applied two coats of butter LONDON Nail Lacquer in Royal Navy, followed by a layer of Nail Lacquer in Leccy.
· To add more dimension to the nail, Katie then used saran wrap to speckle butter LONDON Nail Lacquer in Diamond Geezer over the nail.
· The look was finished with the Patent Gel Top & Tails and a dab of butter LONDON Handbag Holiday Cuticle Oil.

This was actually the first time I used saran wrap to speckle and it turned out great! For my mani I used butter LONDON Nail Lacquer in Bluecoat, followed by Nail Lacquer in Leccy and speckled with essie No Place Like Chrome.
