TargetStyle, In Vogue Party

I kicked off my New York Fashion Week festivities with the TargetStyle, In Vogue party on September 9th at Cedar Lake, at 547 West 26th Street. A collection of Vogue's most iconic images were reimagined and styled with Target products, including buffalo plaid apparel, shoes, and accessories from the limited-edition Adam Lippes for Target collection launching in stores and online at target.com on September 27th.

Target's 20-page advertising insert in the September issue of Vogue magazine was brought to life, with live-action vignettes. Each guest was given a wristband with a QR code, linked to each attendee's email address. Photographers were on standby near each installation, Scanning guests' wrists and snapping photos. Each guest then received an email to a photo library of all their images taken throughout the night, which could be directly downloaded or shared on Facebook and Twitter. The best vignette was even a merry go round that took a video of each guest while in motion. This is such an innovative collaboration between Target and Vogue, with a another creative Target party concept, incorporating tech, fashion and style.

Vogue Blogger Network Summer Soirée 2015

On Thursday, July 16th, I attended the annual Vogue Summer Soirée, held for the first time at Vogue's gorgeous event space at One World Trade Center.

MCM, one of my handbag brands, previewed their Autumn/Winter 2015 collection. One of my favorites is the 'Roboter' clutch, which has an actual, playful robot silhouette. At the event, we received the exclusive MCM SoHo Portfolio, and had it customized with one of three designs by fashion illustrator Blair Breitenstein. The portfolio includes MCM's signature leather Visetos, and even fits my MacBook Air! It's the perfect accessory for work or to use as a clutch!

Jergens introduced their new Natural Glow products, starting with the Color Primer in-shower scrub to prep for streak-free color, Instant Sun sunless tanning mousse for instant, natural-looking color and Tan Extender daily moisturizer, to preserve your tan up to 7 days!

It's always fun and fashionable shipping champagne, spending an evening with the Vogue team and meeting with other bloggers that are part of the Vogue Blogger Network!

Vogue Holiday Affair 2014

If it's one thing I try to never miss, it's any of Vogue's Blogger Network events. I love networking with the select group of bloggers Vogue works with, as well as being introduced to and reunited with sponsoring brands. The Vogue team is such a friendly and personable group to be around, so it's always a fun, fashionable reunion during these events!

The latest event was Vogue's Holiday Affair, which was held on December 8th at Bouley Botanical at 218 Church Street. Chef David Bouley's event space features a test kitchen and fresh herbs grown on site, resulting in an amazing aroma of food. Of the small plates being served, some of my favorites were the Chatham Day Boat Lobster, Slow Braised Kobe Style Beef Cheeks and Grilled Marinated Duck.

Among the featured brands were Hudson Jeans, previewing their Spring 2015 collection, including chambray tops and jeans in super skinny and flair styles.

Garnier Fructis hosted a braid bar, in which I opted for a voluminous, braided chignon. The two new products Garnier Fructis introduced to me is perfect for my hair and this winter weather: the new De-Constructed Texture Tease dry touch finish spray and Marvelous Oil Deep Nourish hair elixir.

Vera Bradley showcased their new quilted leather collection, available in magenta, taupe and black in tote, satchel, backpack and crossbody styles, as well as wallets and wristlets. This collection is perfect for going from the office to an evening out.

Simon featured holiday gift picks, gifting blogger attendees with a Rebecca Minkoff pouch and Simon gift card. Some of the Simon Malls in the NYC area include Roosevelt Field, Woodbury Common Premium Outlets and The Westchester.

Desert Rose by Ne'emah quickly became my favorite new fragrance for the season, with a mix of citrus /fruity, floral and woody notes. Lookout for it when it becomes available in the U.S. this spring!

Before the evening ended I indulged in trying on Blackglama's luxurious black mink fur coats.

Thank you to the Vogue team and all the sponsored brands!

Vogue and Clarks: The Perfect Pair Event

On Friday, September 12th, influencers from the Vogue Blogger Network attended The Perfect Pair event, hosted by Vogue and Clarks at The Conde Nast Building. Bloggers curated their own fall fashion look with the help of their guests, putting together pieces from the Vogue's closet and completing their look with a pair of shoes from Clarks fall collection.

I feel like my look really represents my style. You can't go wrong with a LBD, so I centered my look around a classic Alexander McQueen dress, brown leather, double buckle Burberry belt, my new Brahmin All Day Tote in Black Bohemia, and Clarks leather boots.  I often accessorize with a belt to accentuate the waist and thought the distressed leather on the Burberry belt matched up to the brown buckle strap on the Clarks boots, for a vintage, worn look. I usually don't do florals but I love that the all over print on the Brahmin tote is a black, neutral floral. It's a an outfit that can go from day to night, and if you need to dress it up you can just remove the belt and add on a pair of heels.

My favorite pair of shoes from Clarks this season is the Hamble Oak menswear-inspired oxfords in burgundy leather. These oxfords can be worn with leggings and jeans or paired with a skirt or dress, and the low heel makes running around the city as comfortable as possible. Burgundy is also a hot color this season and that's the one color I need to add in my shoe wardrobe!

Thank you Vogue and Clarks for hosting such a fun styling event!
