Shop in Support of Breast Cancer Awareness - Coach, BCBGMAXAZRIA and Betsey Johnson

October is National Breast Cancer Awareness month, and you can do your part by wearing pink and purchasing products that support Breast Cancer Awareness.

During the month of October, I'll be sharing my top picks of designers and brands supporting Breast Cancer Awareness.

Here are some of my favorites.

In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness month, Coach will donate 20% of their Positively Pink Collection to BCRF, Breast Cancer Research Foundation, a charity dedicated to prevention and a cure for breast cancer. You can shop at coach.com for these special products, which include this BCRF Pave Turnlock Valet Keyfob ($58) and BCRF Op Art 27 x 27 Scarf ($68), among other items.

Purchase BCBGMAXAZRIA's Dream Scarf ($48), Notebook ($15) or Sunglasses ($120) and 25% of your purchase will go to Susan G. Komen for the Cure. Shop at bcbg.com.

Betsey Johnson has been a breast cancer survivor for 11 years! Each year Betsey designs limited edition items, from which a portion of the proceeds benefit various breast cancer related causes. This year proceeds will support two of her favorite charities - National Breast Cancer Coalition Fund and Weill Cornell Breast Cancer of the Iris Cantor Women's Health Center at New York Presbyterian Hospital, where Betsey was treated. You can shop the oversized tote ($75), knit hat ($30), gloves ($30), cozy socks ($10) and glitzy charm bracelet ($125) at betseyjohnson.com.

Betsey Johnson Spring 2011

Betsey Johnson's Spring 2011 show started off with a video clip of Betsey riding a bicycle around Lincoln Center, followed by clips of Betsey and daughter Lulu teaching grandaughter Layla how to ride a bicycle, opening up the theme of the show.

Models wearing 'RIDE ME' necklaces strutted down the runway, with the first few looks including bike caps and accessories and cyclewear.

What I love about Betsey Johnson is that there are always multiple themes in her show and something for everyone - gingham, rose prints, florals and stripes.

Here are a few of my favorite, wearable pieces from the show.

This floral dress on the right looks perfect for a garden party

These party girl dresses scream FUN, and are perfect for prom

I am digging the sailor theme with these fitted, double breasted blazers

At the end of the show, Betsey emerged on the runway, riding a bicycle. Betsey's show wouldn't be complete without Betsey tumbling into her cartwheels, which everyone always anticipates!

Betsey Johnson & Tweezerman Launch Celebration

On Tuesday, August 24th, Betsey Johnson & Tweezerman celebrated the launch of the limited edition Betsey Johnson Designer Series at the Soho store on Wooster Street.

Betsey Johnson reprises Tweezerman's Designer Series Slant® Tweezer Collection with graphic and iconic prints. The first designer series was in 2009 with international fashion designer Agatha Ruiz De la Prada.

The new Betsey Johnson Designer Series truly captures her girly, spunky, rock n' roll spirit with three prints: white with graphic pink Betsey Bud (rose), neon pink with white Betsey Bones (skulls) and black with pink Betsey Babe (Marilyn). The skulls is my favorite!

Tweezerman tweezers are hand filed at a 25-degree slant - the ergonomic angle provides more surface area, making for easier hair removal. The Betsey Johnson Designer Series tweezers retail for $25.00 each, available at Sephora,
sephora.com, Betsey Johnson stores and betseyjohnson.com as of September 1st.

The launch party was fun-filled, with sweets galore including miniature stuffed cupcakes from Baked by Melissa, cocktails and of course complimentary brow shaping! Betsey was definitely the life of the party, enjoying the company of all her guests. I definitely need some of her energy!
