Modern Glam: Von Vonni Transformer Dress

Von Vonni's Transformer Dress is glamorous and stunning, especially in red, and the best part is that you can wear it twenty-five different ways, draping, twisting, tying and cinching it into a halter, deep V, one-shoulder, kimono sleeve, Grecian-style or even as a maxi skirt. Another thing that amazes me about this dress is that it is one size fits all, and I didn't even alter the length. I plan on getting it tailored so I have more ways to wear it, but the dress can actually be shortened with a pair of scissors since there is no hemline. I love that this dress also makes me look tall! The Transformer Dress is available in multitude of colors, patterns, metallics and a shorter, cocktail dress version at vonvonni.com.

Dress: Von Vonni Transformer, $120
Headband: Deepa Gurnani
Earrings: Jewelmint
Shoes: Silvia Tcherassi for Payless

Many thanks to Valerie Star for styling my hair, makeup and nails with sponsors Salon Grafix, BaByliss PRO, Pop Beauty and Zoya products at Caravan Stylist Studio at The Carlton Hotel. Thank you Claudine DeSola for having me at the studio!

BaByliss Pro Style Shoot Featuring BaByliss Nano Titanium Hot Rollers

On April 3rd, BaByliss Pro guests including select bloggers and press took part in a style shoot at Caravan Stylist Studio.

To prep for the shoot, Adreanna applied DDF skincare, including Aloe Toning Complex, Ultra-Lite Oil-Free Moisturizing Dew and Wrinkle-Resist Plus Pore Minimizer. Adreanna then created my makeup look with the following Ulta products - Fabulous Face Concealer Stick, Extreme Wear Matte Finish Mousse Foundation, My Girl pallet, Molten Eye Shadow, Lash Icon Mascara and Lip Gel. Adreanna styled my hair using the Conair Ceramic Round Brush, BaByliss Pro Nano Titanium blow dryer and BaByliss Pro Nano Titanium hot rollers.

The BaByliss PRO Nano Titanium Hot Roller sets are available in 5, 8, 12, 20 or 30-roller sets, with 4 different roller diameters, including small, medium large and jumbo. Since my hair is thin and fine, the 5-jumbo roller set is perfect for me to use at home and great for travel.

I was amazed at how hot the rollers get, as I've used some rollers that don't get hot enough and as a result don't produce the curls I'm looking for or all-day staying power. The hot rollers are so easy to use, and come with butterfly clips and metal pins. I find that when I use the pins my hair doesn't crease, but if the rollers don't want to stay in place then I'll also use the butterfly clips. My hair beautifully goes from straight to silky, voluminous wavy curls that last throughout the day.

The following BaByliss PRO Nano Titanium Hot Rollers are available at folica.com.

- BaByliss Pro Nano Titanium 5 Roller Hairsetter (BABNTTS7), $34.99

- BaByliss Pro Nano Titanium 8 Roller Hairsetter (BABNTHS8), $54.99

- BaByliss Pro Nano Titanium 12 Roller Hairsetter (BABNTCHV15), $54.99

- BaByliss Pro Nano Titanium 20 Roller Hairsetter (BABNTCHV21), $64.99

- BaByliss Pro Nano Titanium, 30 Roller Hairsetter (BABNTHS40), $99.99

Prepped for the shoot with hair and makeup ready!

After hair and makeup, I then perused through the designer samples available to wear for the shoot. Most of the pieces I picked out were dresses and separates by Rae, in bold colors and prints. The Amanda Bird of Paradise mixed print maxi dress by Rae was ultimately the dress I chose - and surprisingly was the perfect length!

Here are the final images from the shoot. They came out absolutely fabulous! A very big thank you to Paola, Jason and Adriana. It was a pleasure working with you all - thank you for having me participate in such a fun shoot!
