Summer Style Post Featuring Bomber & Company

I've been on the lookout for a compact duffel bag to use for the gym, an overnight stay or all day press previews in the city. I finally found a bag that caught my eye - the Bomber Barrel Duffle Bag by Bomber & Company! What makes this duffel really unique is that it comes equipped with a Mini Bomber Traveler Kit to carry essentials or to fold up the duffel bag when not in use. It's great for those days when I know I may need an extra bag, especially during fashion week.

This ripstop nylon Bomber Barrel Duffle Bag ($128) is weather resistant and ultra lightweight. It has an inner and outer pocket, adjustable, padded shoulder strap, wraparound carry handles with a padded velcro grip, military-grade clips, waterproof zippers and emergency paracord zipper pulls. The classic design is modernized with strong hardware, for a stylishly strong look.

As an added accessory, there's also a Bomber Firestarter Paracord Bracelet / Survival Bracelet ($27) to match the duffel bag / traveler kit. I was pleasantly surprised that this sporty unisex bracelet fit my tiny wrist.

The Bomber Barrel Duffel Bag claimed the title as the "Most Successful Kickstarter Bag". To shop or learn more, visit www.bomberco.com

Summer Style Post: Taupe and White

Silk Top: Lafayette 148 New York
Cotton Skirt: USE UNUSED
Belt: Charlotte Russe
Sunglasses: Just Cavalli
Shoes: MICHAEL Michael Kors
Bag: 3.1 Phillip Lim for Target

This summer I'm staying cool in lightweight neutrals, pairing taupe and white for those hot and humid days. USE UNUSED has quickly become one of my favorite designers in the past year, and the soft watercolor print on this skirt is one of my favorites for summer.

Summer Style Post Featuring Shoes of Prey / Sorial / USE UNUSED

Top: WkShp
Skirt: USE UNUSED San Skirt, $415
Necklace: Gorjana
Sunglasses: Roberto Cavalli
Shoes: Shoes of Prey, $199
Bag: Sorial Park Avenue Tote, $148

I was so excited to wear my colorblocked heeled oxfords. I designed at Shoes of Prey! I wanted to design something unique that I didn't have in my shoedrobe, and incorporate one of my favorite summer colors - mint green. When choosing the colors for my shoes, I color-matched the leather swatch to my new USE UNUSED mint green skirt (which I got for $40 at the USE UNUSED sample sale). I also added in metallic gold to glam up the shoe and a blush/nude tone to make it more wearable. I think these shoes would also look great with a mint or blush-toned tulle skirt, or jeans and a tee. The shoes are pretty comfortable, with a 3.4" heel. My heeled oxfords came with a shoe bag, shoe inserts and a pic of my shoe! Check out my whole Shoes of Prey design experience here. You can design your own pair of shoes at shoesofprey.com or visit the Design Studio at select Nordstrom locations.

My vegan leather Sorial Park Avenue Tote has become my go-to bag, from the office to events, fitting everything from my DSLR camera to my cosmetics bag and change of shoes. It paired nicely with my new Shoes of Prey shoes!

Shark Week Style Post Featuring BCBGeneration

In honor of Shark Week and the upcoming Sharknado 3, I wore my shark print shirtdress by BCBGeneration. This dress is one of my favorites for summer since it's lightweight and super comfortable. I also love the cut of the longer back hem.
