Cat Footwear Spring 2018

Cat Footwear Spring 2018 is here, in comfortable streetwear styles with edgy hardware and airy fabrics. This season's shoes come in on trend colors including Buff Tan, Rose, Vintage Indigo, Legion Blue and Red.

Since I love wearing oxfords when I'm not in heels, the Verse cutout oxford in Black/Vanilla is one of my favorite Cat Footwear shoes this season. It's also powered by FlexFWD comfort technology and flex grooves that help relieve pressure under your heel, arch and toes.

The Reegan II is a classic menswear inspired oxford with a downtown edge, made with a mix of leather and tweed in Brown or Black. This oxford in the Cherry Blossom color would be perfect to wear with a mini dress or skirt for a daytime spring look.

For a spring boot, my top pick is the Kiley in Vintage Indigo with zipper detailing. This boot can easily be paired with a chunky sweater and distressed jeans.

I would also opt for the Delancey boot in Rose. It has the proprietary EASE footbed which delivers shock absorption with each step.

The Alma sandal mixes a wedge style with a lace-up shoe for a tribal look with a pop of bold color such as Legion Blue or Puritan.

What I love about Cat Footwear is that the shoes usually have at least a 1"or 1.5" inch heel height. No matter what style shoe, they always seem to be comfortable to walk in.

Wolverine 1000 Mile Collection Spring 2018

Even though it doesn't feel quite like spring just yet, I'm so glad we can finally focus on Spring 2018 footwear! The Wolverine 1000 Mile Collection for spring features the Original 1000 Mile Boot in new suede colorways for men and women, as well as the men's launch of the 1000 Mile "1940" Boot and the 1000 Mile Sneaker. The Wolverine 1000 Mile Collection was recreated from archival Wolverine patterns from the 1940s and handcrafted in the U.S.A. This collection embodies the pillars of Wolverine’s heritage – comfort, durability, function and style.

The Wolverine Original 1000 Mile Boot ($365) is America's original work boot, made with the same time-tested construction methods as the first boot made over 100 years ago. The Original boot is made with  Goodyear Welt construction, which allows the boot to be resoled for years of wear, and stacked leather soles. New colorways for women include Grey Suede and Camo Suede.

The Wolverine 1000 Mile 1940 boot ($415) features a distinct two-piece design that is classic and elegant. The boot's "seamless contour-back is "cut to copy your ankle" and the pattern lines use triple needle stitching, illustrating the attention to detail and craftsmanship in each pair. The boot features beautiful Horween® leather from Chicago in three different colors: natural, tan and black.

The natural leather is 100-percent pure vegetable tanned leather, made using many of the same elements and processes as the company’s premier shell cordovan. The natural color is the result of tanning without the use of any dyes and showcases the leather in its most natural state, allowing it to darken and develop a patina with wear.

A best seller when it was introduced in 1914, the 1000 Mile boot is so durable and comfortable it was said to give you 1000 miles of wear. This particular boot honors its heritage as a recreation of a popular 1940s pattern.

The Wolverine 1000 Mile Original Sneaker for both men and women introduces the classic style of the Original 1000 Mile boot, with the lightweight comfort and flexibility of a sneaker, featuring a soft, comfortable Tumbled Essex leather upper from Horween tannery, cupsole construction and a Vibram® outsole to make the shoe ultra flexible.
