Winter Shopping with Sebago and Fossil

It's time to buy a few gifts for yourself and add some shoes and handbags to your closet! Two brands that have recently become favorites of mine are Sebago and Fossil.

Sebago is known for their boat shoes, which I may have to get for the spring season, but I am absolutely loving the Saranac Tall Lace Boot ($210) that I got a few weeks ago. These super comfortable boot features a sealed waterproof construction, breathable fabric linings, memory foam with Poliyou Foam Cushion sock insert for added comfort and slip-resistant non-marking soles. I was happy to find out that Sebago carries a size 5, which it true to size. I was afraid these boots would be too big for me and leave a gap at the top of the boot, but they actually fit perfectly and can easily be worn over a pair of jeggings.

New from Fossil this season is the Key-Per collection, inspired by vintage travel cases and available in colorful and bold prints, the Mason collection, in super soft leather with 70s-inspired details, the Maddox collection in pebbled leather and bold hardware and the Vintage Re-Issue collection, inspired by beautiful Italian bags of the 70s, combining glazed leather from the men's collection with feminine silhouettes.

Robert Verdi's Fashion Week Retreat - New York Fashion Week Spring 2012

Another season of New York Fashion Week means another fun retreat at Robert Verdi's Luxe Laboratory. I rarely have time to eat when I'm running back and forth between shows, so I was really excited to sample food from The Fresh Diet, which provides healthy, calorie controlled, fresh meals delivered to your door everyday. There's a lot of variety in the menu, from wraps to salads, grilled chicken with broccoli to cheese cake and cookies for dessert.

Here's a look at what else I previewed at the Robert Verdi Fashion Week Retreat this season.

From boat shoes to boots, Sebago shoes are comfortable and stylish. I also got a peek at the Kimmie Smith x Sebago Spring 2012 collaboration.

Jewelista offers fine and fashion jewelry from International designers from around the world. You can shop online at jewelista.com.

Kerstin Florian offers luxury European facial, body and bath products as well as treatments for the spa industry.

I am so excited about these Band-Aid® Brand Bandages by Cynthia Rowley, with the sequin print as my favorite! The Fashion Week Emergency Kit really does have everything you need - including Band-Aid® Friction Block Stick, Jeeves No Sew Buttons and Hollywood Fashion Secrets Lint Removing Sheets®.

Hanes legwear - a must-wear, including opaque tights with prints, color and patterns and Hanes Silk Reflections. I love the Silky Lace vintage lace-inspired floral pattern and Blackout Opaque Tights.

Robin's Jeans

These really do work! SHEETS energy strips has no calories, no sugar and best of all - there's no crashing! They are individually wrapped - perfect for on-the-go and are available in 4-packs and 10-packs. They dissolve quickly and contain Vitamins B5, B6, B12 & E.

Muscle Milk

Amazing denim couch!

Incoco was applying nail polish appliqués in different shades and styles from leopard print to glitter. Lasts 14 days!

Maybelline was also providing complimentary makeovers, with 3 different looks - " Glamorous eyes take center stage, "Romantic, feminine, dramatic lips" and "Porcelain skin, the perfect compliment to any look".

I'm a contact lense wearer, so Acuvue® Brand Contact Lenses was on-hand, introducing me to 1-DAY ACUVUE® MOIST® soft disposable contact lenses. I definitely couldn't do without daily disposable lenses!
