One of my favorite spring pieces from American Eagle Outfitters is the full-length romper with cuffed hem. The XXS fit so perfectly, I just had to get it in black too! I've been searching for the perfect leather moto jacket and thanks to Monika Chiang, I actually found one that fits perfectly! I've been wearing this jacket with everything, including dresses, skirts, cinched pants and jeans. The Lenovo Yoga 2 Pro is my new favorite ultrabook. I love that it has a 360-degree flip and fold design and functions with a touch screen and keyboard. For my full review, click here.

Monika Chiang Sample Sale Update with Reduced Price List

Hoping to snag some more leather pieces, I stopped by the Monika Chiang sample sale around 1pm on the first day. I was shocked to see a lot of new apparel and shoes that wasn't at the last sale.  No lingerie, or home items this time around, and looks like the belts are sold out. They don't expect to get another shipment in but I'm still on the lookout! I have updated this post with the current price list as reductions were taken today. Now this sale is really worth checking out!

I ended up getting the Perforated Leather Tee in Black for $60 (originally $750) and the Fitted Peak Lapel Jacket for $55 (originally $575). I also got the Calf Hair Cobalt Equidae Bootie for $60 (originally $525) and the Gunmetal Harness Necklace for $30 (originally $295). This sale has been just as incredible for the second round this month! This sale is definitely worth stopping over at!

Monika Chiang Sample Sale

Monika Chiang Fall 2013

For fall 2013, Monika Chiang drew inspiration from her reoccurring dreams of flying. With all things flight in mind, she encapsulated the beauty and sophistication of birds, wings, and everything aviation. The color scheme followed suit with neutral tones and a touch of the primary colors. The collection was mostly dominated with touches of khaki and olive, resembling aviation uniforms. Silk and chiffon were also used for their appeal of graceful movement.

In this presentation, the details were not to be missed. The jewelry was phenomenal in its own right, leaning toward a more graphic, bold approach. The hair was styled in a bouffant futuristic style, giving it an aerodynamic feel. And then there was the makeup. Each of the models was decorated with their own set of lace wings near their eyes. It was done so delicately that it actually seemed that their eyelashes were fluttering. With everything put together, it was a beautiful and touching presentation. As always, Chiang presented a cohesive collection, one bound with raw inspiration, sex appeal, and pure luxury.

Monika Chiang Spring / Summer 2013

Monika Chiang Spring / Summer 2013 is inspired by her recent trip to South Africa, with vibrant Mango and Jungle colors and 'Out of Africa' prints. The collection combines athletic styles with luxe fabrics, like the parachute silk anorak, track and mini skirt. An embellished leather bra paired with a leather paneled skirt and leather vests and moto jackets add an edgy sophistication.

Shoes include ankle strap pumps, cuff sandals, chain strappy sandals in embossed stingray, lace-up sandals,and open toe booties in embossed python and grey perforated suede.
