LuLu*s Style Studio at New York Fashion Week

On Friday, February 13th, LuLu*s Style Studio at 404 (404 Tenth Avenue) was the perfect place to wind down and catch up with my blogger babes after attending some shows during New York Fashion Week.

This year at LuLu*s Style Studio, attendees enjoyed makeovers by NYX Cosmetics and massages by Shea Moisture. Some favorites from this year's beauty sponsors include 100% Pure's Coffee Bean Caffeine Eye Cream, Sigma Beauty's E47 Shader Crease Travel Brush, Rosebud Perfume Co. Lip Balm, NYX Cosmetics Eye Shadow and Jumbo Eye Pencil, the Balm How 'Bout Them Apples Cheek & Lip Cream, Bodyography Electric Lip Slide, Show Stoppers Double Stick Designer Tape and Shea Moisture's Superfruit Complex Body Lotion.

Each attendee enjoyed drinks courtesy of Hpnotiq and chose a clothing piece from the Style Studio. The racks were filled with clothing racks from tops and jackets to skirts and dresses, based on style trends - Edgy, Uptown Prep, Sweetheart, Vixen and Boho. I went with a black Mink Pink crop sweater. Guests also tweeted to win prizes, so I was happy to win a $50 lulus.com gift card to help with some spring shopping!

LuLu*s Style Studio at New York Fashion Week

 

On Saturday, February 8th during New York Fashion Week, I took a break from attending fashion shows and enjoyed a night of fashion and fun at Lulu*s Style Studio at 404, at 404 10th Avenue. It was a great night for catching up with fellow bloggers and connecting with new ones, celebrating Fashion Week in style with drinks, snacks, beauty and fashion giveaways and makeovers, manicures and massages.

As for free clothing giveaways, each guest was able to choose one clothing item of their choice, so after scouring the racks I found the perfect item - a black Mink Pink Saint Bernadette Strapless Dress in XS. I also won a White Crow tunic in XS. 

My favorite part of the evening was meeting with the beauty sponsors. My first stop however was to stock up on some snacks from Pop Chips, Kind Bars and Godiva (I am now addicted to Godiva's Milk Chocolate Salted Almond Bar). 

There are some beauty products I can't wait to try, like Lush's Cupcake Fresh Mask and One Love Organics Brand New Day Microderma Scrub & Masque and Gardenia Daily Body Serum. There are also brands that I always enjoy seeing, like Twistband and Shea Moisture.  I especially love Shea Moisture's Body Butter, and chose the Coconut & Hibiscus scent, with a focus on firming & toning. 

It's been an incredibly fun fashion week with LuLu*s Style Studio, and I definitely look forward to the next one!
