New and Improved Burt's Bees Lip Shimmers in Three New Shades

Earlier this summer Burt's Bees® and Marie Claire hosted a launch for the Burt's Bees® Lip Shimmers. Makeup artist Tina Turnbow took attendees through the lip shimmer shades. For my lip match, Tina mixed Plum with Watermelon, which really complimented my outfit and was a great match with my sweater! The lip shimmers really allow you to play with color, whether you decide to mix them together or wear with a lipstick or gloss. I make sure I always have at least one or two lip shimmers in my bag and in my makeup drawer at the office.

güd by Burt's Bees Launch

The makers of Burt's Bees have launched güd, a luscious new line of hair and bodycare products in four fun, happy scents - Floral Cherrynova (Cherry Blossom & Almond Milk), Pearanormal Activity (Pear & Acai Berry), Vanilla Flame (Vanilla & Rice Milk) and Orange Petalooza (Blood Orange & Hyacinth).

Two of my favorite scents are Cherry and Almond, so I'm super excited about Floral Cherrynova, my favorite from the güd line. It smells amazing, with top notes of juicy bing cherries and fresh green, mid notes of rosewood and white floral bouquet and dry notes of warm milk accord and creamy musk.

All güd products contain no parabens, no phthalates, no petrochemicals and are never tested on animals. As of this month, look for güd products at select food, drug and mass retailers, including Target (Pearanormal Activity is exclusively available at Target), Walgreens and Ulta. Burt's Bees New Body Lotions

Last month I attended the launch of Burt's Bees new body lotions at The Park. The new and improved lotions have been reformulated to be 99% natural, and include Fragrance Free Shea Butter & Vitamin E, Naturally Nourishing Milk & Honey and Soothingly Sensitive Aloe & Buttermilk. Burt's Bees lotions are non-greasy, hydrating and moisturize for up to 24 hours.

My favorite is the Naturally Nourishing Milk & Honey body lotion, which is for normal to dry skin. I received a complimentary hand massage at the preview and was able to see for myself how the lotion absorbs into my skin and how soft it makes my hands feel.

I've never tried the original Burt's Bees lotions so I really can't compare between the original and new and improved versions. All I can say is that I am pleased with the new lotions. I usually go for the sweet, fruit fragrances but it's nice to change it up every once in a while and try something new.
