Sephora + Pantone Universe Pop-Up Color Shop

On March 22nd, I attended the opening of the Sephora + Pantone Universe Pop-Up Color Shop, located north of 14th Street at 9th Avenue in the Meatpacking District, Chelsea Plaza.

The launch celebrates the Sephora + Pantone Universe Color of the Year Collection, centered on Pantone 17-1463 Tangerine Tango. At the Pop-Up Color Shop, consumers can receive one of three different Express Services from a Sephora artist at the Sephora Beauty Studio and learn tips and tricks for wearing this vibrant orange shade.

For my makeup touch-up, I was surprised at how wearable the Tangerine Tango Cream lipstick, Tangerine Tango Vivid lip gloss and Tangerine Tango Twist eyeliner are! Since I had to go back to the office, I didn't want too much of a dramatic look. My look ended up adding a burst of color without overdoing it. I love how this shade looks different and flattering on everyone. Can't wait to try out more from this collection!



Here's a closer look at the Sephora + Pantone Universe Color of the Year Capsule Collection, featuring the coveted Sephora + Pantone Universe Color of the Year Collector's Edition, $68, which includes the Color of the Year eyeliner, eye shadow quad, prisma chrome blush, blush duo, creme lipstick and lip gloss. The capsule collection also includes an eyelash curler, faux lash set, nail polishes, brush sets, makeup bags.

Charles David Spring/Summer 2012

With just two days away from Spring, it's time to treat yourself to a pedicure and get out those new sandals you've been dying to wear. It's also time to splurge on a new pair of luxe Charles David shoes from the spring/summer collection. Adrianna Papell Spring 2012

Here are a few of my favorite Adrianna Papell and Adrianna Papell For E! dresses and gowns for Spring 2012. The sequin gown in taupe/pink is one of the most flattering styles for petites, with a beautiful scalloped design, detailed with metallic beads and sequins. I also recommend strapless dresses with beaded trim. This season the color palette is surrounded by neutrals, pink, yellow, blue and black and white.

The Daily Style Sessions - New York Fashion Week Fall 2012

The Daily Style Sessions at The Empire Hotel was one of the hotspots to hit up during New York Fashion Week Fall 2012. Attendees stopped by in between shows to have a quick cocktail, indulge in some beauty treatments and check out some of the showcased brands.

Stella & Dot previewed the latest jewelry from their spring collection, including necklaces, earrings, bracelets and rings. The jewelry is super chic and affordable, with necklaces ranging from $39-$248. The statement necklaces are my favorite pieces, including the Pegasus Necklace (bottom left, $198) and the Sierra Necklace (bottom right, $148). The assortment offers a variety of styles, from multi-strand necklaces to ones that are perfect layering pieces.
