Foster Grant and Corinne McCormack Sunglasses and Reading Glasses for Summer

Sunglasses are a must-have accessory of mine for summer! In addition to protecting my eyes, I just love how fashionable eyewear can be. I tend to gravitate toward the same styles but Foster Grant and Corinne McCormack has opened my eyes to an assortment of glasses with fun colors and prints, as well as affordable! Here are some of my summer favorites, which tend to be aviator, rectangular or oval shaped sunglasses. Medium to large size sunglasses look great on me, but because I am petite I have to make sure they aren't too oversized for my face.

Foster Grant Scarlett POL, $24.99

Foster Grant Latte, $16.99

Foster Grant Suzy in Crystal Floral Purple, $9.99

Foster Grant Tracy, $19.99

I don't use reading glasses since I am nearsighted, but for years I have been wearing contact lenses only because I just cant seem to find the right pair of frames. Corinne McCormack has so many great reading glasses out there, so I think I'm just going to switch out the reading glass lenses with my prescription lenses! Corinne McCormack reading glasses come in all different colors, from pink, purple and blue to animal print frames. You can find Corinne McCormack eyewear at Bloomingdale's, Nordstrom and Dillard's.

Corinne McCormack is described as 'modern eyewear with a hint of wit and glamour'.

Corinne McCormack Bella in Lilac, $58

This sunreader is perfect for the beach, pool or outdoor summer activities!

Have You Tried Absolution Skincare Yet?

Absolution is an anti-aging organic French skincare line that launched at Space NK in April. This unisex line includes nine products - cleansing/purifying water/makeup remover all in one, day care, night care, men's skincare, eye contour booster and four serums - radiant, anti-aging, control and revitalizing.

What I love about this line is that you can easily customize your regimen based on your skins needs. All you have to do is mix one drop of Crème Absolution with one drop of La Solution + Serum of your choice, or you can just use the products individually.

My favorite is mixing the day care, La Crème du Jour, with the revitalizing booster, La Solution + Energie, which contains Echinacea, known for boosting the immune system and for its invigorating properties. This powerful antioxidant protects cells and encourages skin renewal. La Solution + Energie also smells incredible, with Aloe Vera juice, Avocado oil, Rosemary and Lavender floral waters, Olive tree leaves extract, wild Chamomile, Verbena, Olibanum and Basil essentials oils added in.

I also love the smoothness of anti-aging eye contour booster, Le Soin Regard. Le Soin Regard improves elasticity, smooths out fine lines and wrinkles, renews radiance and reduces dark circles and puffiness. The Absolution line is priced from $40-$89 at Space NK stores and at

Forever 21 Fall 2011

Forever 21 is focusing on four themes for the fall collection - Vintage Darling, 70s Boho, Midnight Angel - edgy, 80s rock and Navajo-inspired Rustic Cabin.

Vintage Darling is my favorite, with a modern update to pearls and romantic white lace. Everything I am eyeing for fall was featured in the Vintage Darling vignette at the preview - lace tights, lace tops, cropped lace blazer, sequin jacket and floral wedge shoes.

Boho features long, printed skirts and dresses, fringe vests and feather earrings and necklaces. Midnight Angel really rocks the black lace - from cropped leggings to corset tops and black pencil skirts. Rustic Cabin embraces crochet vests and dramatic, feather headdresses and hats.

I couldn't help but love all the jewelry from feathered or enamel heart earrings to pearl locket pendants and rose carved rings.

Lookout for the collection this August/September!

American Eagle Fall 2011

Ever since I attended the American Eagle Fall 2011 preview this past spring, I have been anticipating stocking up on jeans for fall. At the top of my fall favorites list is the AE Jegging (priced at $49.50 and $39.50) and is available in several washes. Last fall I got a pair of American Eagle's jeggings and I found myself wearing them nonstop with flats, heels or boots. They can be worn with just about anything and have the perfect fit for my petite frame! Along with jeggings you'll find skinny, slim boot, flare and boyfriend jeans.

Cute boho tops and tunics would be great to wear with any pair of jeans. I'm also really excited about leather this fall, including the AE Leather Bomber ($199.50) and leather accessories like the AE Heather City Shopper Bag. Fringe is also a hot trend right now, so you can get your fringe on with the AEO Fringed Bag ($39.50) and AE Fringe Coin Purse ($15.50).

I expect a lot of these pieces to sell out quickly, so I'll be keeping my eye out for my favorite picks for fall:
