Bradelis New York Soho Store Opening Party

On Thursday, April 26th, Bradelis New York celebrated the opening of their first U.S. flagship location at 211 Elizabeth Street. Bradelis' line of intimate apparel is known for their luxurious fabrics and exquisite lace and embroidery detailing. The boutique also carries other popular brands such as Blush Lingerie, Samantha Chang and NuBra.

What I really found unique about Bradelis is their Japanese fitting technique and process of helping you find the perfect bra and fit. During the party, guests sipped on champagne and had the opportunity to get fitted by a Fit Specialist. Having been in the intimate apparel industry for years, I have always been right on target with my correct bra size but had an entirely new experience with this fitting since I was given my Japanese bra size.

The bra I was given to try on seemed to fit really well - no sliding straps or loose fit around the cups. For a really custom-fit, Bradelis offers on-the-spot alterations to adjust bra straps, underbands and underwire discomfort. Complimentary alterations are provided for the life of the garment. Now that's what I call service!

Other New York locations include Madison Avenue and Flushing and if you are on the West Coast there is a boutique in Los Angeles. You can also shop online at bradelisny.com/shop.

Stella & Jamie Spring 2012 RTW and Handbag Collections

April Mun's Stella & Jamie collection features leather and luxurious fabrics with a sexy, glamourous edge. The Spring 2012 RTW collection includes color-blocked dresses, skorts, long, flowy skirts and contrast and zippered pants. You'll also see ruffled and pleated pieces and open and cut out backs. The palette includes grey, white and black neutrals with a pop of pink and blue.

Here's a look at the handbag collection I previewed at the Gansevoort Hotel. The handbags have a boho, rock-glam edge, in extremely soft leather with studding and fringe details. Some of the new handbags include Ada, Boha and Viv.

This Kobra Clutch in Dove color is right up my alley, with a detachable metal chain and studding and fringing details. It's the perfect size clutch to tote your ipad in.

Saivana Spring/Summer 2012

I was first introduced to Saivana a few months ago during their resort/spring press preview. Saivana includes tanks, blouses, tunics, dresses and scarves in luxurious silks. Their style is eclectic, feminine and flowy with modern silhouettes and detailed embroidery. While summer is stocking up, you can get some great discounts on pieces currently in-store, such as these Saivana tops at Neiman Marcus now 40% off. Sizing ranges from XS-L. You can also find Saivana at Anthropologie.

Here are some of my Saivana Spring/Summer 2012 favorites. I love how the embroidery details extend to the back for some added detail.
