Back in October 2015, I attended 2(X)IST Spring/Summer 2016 show and 25th anniversary celebration at Skylight Modern, at 537 West 27th Street. Models walking the runway included Andrea Denver, Adam Caldera, Walter Savage, Nyle DiMarco, Parker Gregory, André Ziehe, and Kevin and Jonathan Sampaio, followed by a finale walk with creative director Jason Scarlatti.
The Spring/Summer 2016 collection features a mix of underwear, swimwear, activewear, athleisure wear. The palette included your basics - white, black and grey with pops of pink, blue and fun, bright patterns. Highlights include leggings in prints and ombres with mesh inserts and jogger pants for women's activewear and textured pullover, lounge short-sleeve crew-neck for men's athleisure wear.
After the show, I met with my favorite model, Adam Caldera. He's incredibly friendly, down-to-earth, has the biggest and sweetest smile, and balances being a Ford model and med student! That's a lot of dedication that's motivating and inspiring!
