Treat House NYC Opens on the UWS

August 6th marked the opening of Treat House on the Upper West Side, at 452 Amsterdam Avenue between 81st and 82nd Streets. The gourmet Rice Krispie Treats come in 12 original flavors such as Birthday Cake, Bubble Gum and Chocolate Pretzel, as well as 4 seasonal flavors. If you find yourself undecided on what flavors to try, you can create your own 4 or 12 pack sampler or gift box of 24 treats. I opted for a 4 pack of Chocolate Mint, Red Velvet, Cappuccino and Caramel Sea Salt. Usually Caramel Sea Salt and Red Velvet are my favorite flavors, but I think I'm addicted to the Chocolate Mint! I can't wait for the fall/holiday seasonal flavors, as I am already anxiously awaiting Pumpkin and Gingerbread flavors.

The treats are kosher, gluten-free-dairy-free. For each treat purchased, Treat House donates 10 cents to Food Bank For NYC. At Treat House, you'll also find breakfast bars, pops, homemade marshmallows ice cream bars and Stumptown coffee. I hope Treat House will join the incredible lineup of restaurants at New Taste of the Upper West Side next year! Congratulations Treat House and welcome to the Upper West Side neighborhood!
