The New York Times and Save Me, San Francisco Wine Co. present Trucks & Train hosted by Andrew Zimmern took place on October 14th at Basketball City on Pier 36 overlooking the East River, with a special performance by Train. Three wine varietals, "Drops of Jupiter" Petite Sirah, "Calling All Angels" Chardonnay, and "California 37" Cabernet Sauvignon, produced in cooperation with Save Me, San Francisco Wine Co., made its debut during the New York City Wine and Food Festival.

Trucks & Train included 25 participating food trucks, including some of my favorites - Big Gay Ice Cream, Coolhaus, Korilla BBQ, Domo Tacos and Solber Pupusas as well as ones that I was excited to try - Chinese Mirch, Patacon Pisao, Crif Dogs,  Souvlaki GR and King of Falafel and Shawarma.
