On Thursday, November 3rd, Converse debuted DEFCON and Pro Leather 2K11 performance basketball shoes at Cedar Lake Studios, located at 547 West 26th Street.
DJ Bobbito Garcia a.k.a. Cool Bob Love kicked off the celebration spinning tunes followed by a set by DJ Reach. Prominent guests included actor Maximillan Tapper, models Mey Bun and Drew Vision, designers Dee and Ricky Jackson, TV personality Coltrane Curtis, basketball player Corey “Homicide” Williams and Nick Yates from the Yeah Yeah Yeahs.
